METAL CEMETARY
Twisted metal, all in a heap
Over an embankment so steep
Smoke turning into fiery rage
The car turning into a locked cage

Smiles and laughter turn into screams and frowns
As the car rolls on the ground
They remember earlier that day
When they partied and played

One more beer, one more round
Why didn't they turn it down?
Teenagers doing the cool thing
Now only church bells will ring

Their peers will gather once again
To say goodbye to their fallen friends
Crying in the pouring rain
If only their deaths will not be in vain

The teens get together later that day
They came to party and play
They raise their glasses in the air
"Here's to our pals!", they declare

Twisted metal, all in a heap
Over an embankment so steep
When will this vicious cycle ever end?
When will kids be kids again?
