Next, I will list some websites that are handy:
Starfire Assistant. This site holds copies of the main program, as well as the latest upgrade program. Often Steve will also include a downloadable copy of his database - which includes all of the current information about the Rigellian Campaign.
Jim Randall's SA Upgrade Site. Jim was one of the guys who did a LOT of work on the original upgrade scripts. This site includes not only the scripts, but the upgrade program (SAUpgrade.zip) and a lot of the upgrading programs written to upgrade SA itself (rather than the database).
Stephen's Upgrade site. Stephen carries some of the latest upgrade scripts used to upgrade the database.

Download SA Upgrade Program.This the execultable that changes the database (depending on the script). For instructions, see the README file included with the program.

Small instruction set. This is just a small set of instructions that I have gathered together from the Starfire Mailing List.

NOTE: Save the scripts as a text file, and then run the SAUpgrade.exe file according to the instructions.

Upgrade 5.0 to 5.1 Database. The script file to upgrade the database from Version 5.0 to Version 5.1.

Upgrade 5.1 to 5.2 Database. The script file to upgrade the database from Version 5.1 to Version 5.2.

Upgrade 5.2 to 5.3 Database. The script file to upgrade the database from Version 5.2 to Version 5.3.

Upgrade 5.3 to 6.0 Database. The script file to upgrade the database from Version 5.3 to Version 6.0. NOTE: You will need a blank copy of the version 6.0 databse. There is a small set of instructions on how to do this in the instruction set (above).

Blank SA 6.0 Database. A Blank SA version 6.0 database - essential for upgrading from versions 5.3 to 6.0. (Thanks to Alexander Von Hoessle!)
