| The Sacramento Area Tennis Association is a non-profit organization that has been serving the greater Sacramento area for over 56 years. Originally named the Sacramento Tennis Council, the name has changed but the purpose and commitment to the tennis community has not. SATA is an affiliate of the USTA Nor-Cal, and is the governing body of local amateur tennis. The purpose of SATA is to promote the growth of tennis to all people in our area. This commitment is done through the tireless work of both a volunteer and paid staff. SATA promotes the best in area tennis events including all of the events listed below. SATA meetings are open to the public and held at locations throughout the year.
