Next Meeting:  TUESDAY, June 24, 2003    7:00 p.m.   At:  WOODLEY HILLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL  8718 Old Mount Vernon Road – Library    Topics to be Considered:   1.  Central Avenue Consolidation –   The attorney representing Centex Homes has filed its rezoning application for  development of the AA Mobile Home Mart site plus abutting parcels ("Central Avenue Consolidation".)    You will recall at our last meeting, Steve Fritz of  Centex Homes spoke to our civic association about  their plans to consolidate the  lots around and including the location where AAA Mobile Mart is now (just south of Parkside at Mount Vernon) .  He provided a conceptual plan for  single family and towne homes at this site.  Accordingly, our association indicated to the developer that  they  were not opposed to the proposal  and that  Centex  could go forward with their rezoning application.   The rezoning application was filed recently.  On  June 24,  Bob Lawrence, Centex’ attorney will be presenting a general development plan for our civic association’s review and input.   2.  ELECTIONS TO BE HELD  FOR THE YEAR 2003-2004   It is time again for elections to be held.  Since we did not have a nominating committee, names will be taken from the floor.  Positions to be filled include:  President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  There are also three directors positions which need to be filled.                       MVFCA Board:   Rose Lambert, President  - 780-7518; Dick Noble, Vice President – 799-0159;  Dean Norton, Treasurer – 799-8661; Marianne Woehrle, Secretary  -   780-6178.   Directors:  Eunice Theobalds – 360-2975; Bob Purdy – 360-7234; Cher Terry (Hospitality  Chair) 780-2896               Membership Dues for the year ending 8/31/02 are now being collected.  Per household dues are $10 and may be given to the Treasurer at Tuesday’s meeting or sent via check payable to Mount Vernon Farms Civic Association, P.O.
