Dear Civic Association
Members:
In my ten months at the
Mount Vernon District Station I have
attended many community and civic meetings in which citizens were
concerned about the length of time it took to for the Police to
respond to
non-emergency calls. In
response to your past concerns and in keeping
with the philosophy of enhanced customer service, Captain Jim
Charron,
Commander of the Public Safety Communications Center, has provided the
below URL as a link to the PSCC web page.
This web site provides a
link that reads "Have you
contacted us
recently? Please send us your comments by clicking here." This page is
open to citizens to comment on issues concerning your call to the
Public
Safety Communications Center.
I encourage you to forward both positive or
negative comments or just helpful suggestions, via this form. Your
comments will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance Supervisor and
addressed appropriately.

This page is not
intended to report in progress incidents, or to
request police service. To request police service our
non-emergency phone
number is (703)-691-2131 and as always in an emergency, please dial 911.
The two key components
of our community policing initiatives are
problem solving and community partnership. It is only through your active
participation that we will see genuine progress. Thanks for your support.

Commander, Mount Vernon
District Station
