Mega Zangief
"That hurt! Do it again! Ha ha ha....."
After an Iron Body switch, Zangief becomes the massive unstoppable Zombie, Mega Zangief! In this mode, he cannot be tripped, launched or made to flinch and he cannot be hit by combo supers like Final Justice, Weapon X or Captain Storm! However, he cannot block and that is a big problem in this game cause eveyone's got a beam super! However, he is very useful against dialers and people that just love to combo cause he can stop them in the middle of their combo with an SPD or Siberian Blast! You've got a lot of jumping to do while using Mega Zangief because his walk and dash is simply horrible. He moves like he's in a big pool of molasses! He's a really fun character to use but you've gotta be really careful with him.
Elbow Drop

Mega Zangief suddenly comes down on his opponent with his elbow. When it connects, it will always knock them down. Also, if done in the air, it can be used as a great surprise move! Mega Zangief should stick to using his grabs for offense but this is a good escape move if you need to get out of the air for some reason.
Siberian Splash
+HP
This move can be done in the air only. While jumping, press down and Fierce to make Mega Zangief assume the belly flop position! He has a lot of priority while doing this but he is vulnerable to any anti air move. The best thing about it is that this move will easily set up his special grabs. Just land on em and SPD while they're still blocking!
Double Knee Drop
+LK or

Instead of doing a normal kick, Mega Zangief sticks his knees out and tries to hit his opponent with em. It's a useful move for setting up SPD's as well even though the timing is trickier than with a Siberian Splash. It's also great for hitting an opponent that is immediately under Mega Zangief.
Spinning Clothesline 3P
Mega Zangief spins around with his arms outstretched! This is great as an anti air move and it can be done in the air as well. Be careful with this move and don't try it too often on the shorter opponents cause they can repeatedly hit him while he's spinning like a moron!
Spinning Lariat 3K
Mega Zangief does a quicker version of a Spinning Clothesline. Less risky than the regular version and it comes out quicker too! If you must do a spinning clothsline type of move, then pick this one.
Green Hand 

+P
Mega Gief spins once while taking a step forward as he slaps the back of his hand at his opponent! Mega Zangief should only use this mvoe to stop projectiles. If you wanna set up an SPD, just walk right on up to your opponent with the big zombie!
Air Grab 

+K
Zangief jumps up and grabs his air borne opponent. He then slams them down on the ground for some good damage. Watch out though cause he has to catch the opponent at a very specific point. The kick button used determines the angle that he jumps at. Mega Zangief shouldn't use this move too much either because it leaves him unable to move for a while. Also, the air is not his best territory. For anti air, stick to the Siberian Blizzard and Spinning Clotheslines.
Spinning Piledriver 270 degrees+P
The single most powerful special move in the game! Mega Zangief grabs his opponent, jumps into the air and slams them down while spinning! As Mega Zangief, this is the move that you wanna be pulling off. SPD them while they're trying to hit you, run up to them and SPD, SPD in the air! The main point is that you must have this move perfected to be any good with Mega Zan!
Running Bear Grab

Mega Zangief walks up to his opponent and slams them into the ground after grabbing them! If done up close, he will do a double slam for double damage. Try not to do this too often as Mega Zangief cause he walks much slower than regular Zangief. Most of the time, the opponent will see it coming, and fire a super at him. There won't be anything that you can do about it cause he'll still be trying to walk toward his opponent as he's getting pummeled!
Siberian Blast 

+P
This is one of Mega Zangief's most valuable moves in his arsenal. It's a Yoga Flame attack that shoots from his mouth! It comes out very fast and it reaches about 3/4 of the screen. It allows him to stop other characters supers, if they are too far away to punch or SPD. Shinkuu Hadokens, Proton Cannons and Soul Erasers would all make quick work of Mega Zangief if he didn't have this move to save his big zombiefid butt!
Final Atomic Buster 270 degrees+2P(Level One)
As Mega Zangief, this is the super that you will always want to pull off! His Mega armor will protect him from an unlimited amount of hits so feel free to pull this off anytime your opponent is close. As soon as you have a super meter charged, hit em with this cause if you allow your opponent to charge up, he'll be hit by one of their supers!
Siberian Blizzard 270 degrees+2K(Level One)
Mega Zangief rises into the air with his arms stretched out and spinning. This is a great anti air move and it's usefulness ahs been increased since MSF! It has more horizontal range than ever so use it when your opponent is trying to jump in on the big zombie.
Iron Body 

+K(Level One)
If you're tired of not being able to block, change back into regular Zangief by doing the motion again! Unlike the Iron Body change, Mega Zangief will still change back to normal even if he's attacked as he taunts.

Running Bear Grab 

HP+HK(Level One)
Tremendous damage when used to counter up close attacks, but totally useless against projectiles and beam supers! This is a great way of psyching out your opponent, cause they'll learn that "safe" ground combos are no longer safe against Mega Zan! It's also a great way of switching him into battle.
Super Spinning Clothesline 

HP+HK(Level Two)
Mega Zangief comes into the screen spinning! It's not that great cause it can be ducked but it chips a good amount of life and does good damage if it hits! Short opponents can usually crouch under this though so make sure you have a partner that will cover Mega Zangief's legs! All in all...it's better to do the......
Double Final Atomic Buster 

HP+HK(Level Two)
A truly painful and impressive team super! You must do the motion while Mega Zangief is the legal man and up close to the opponent. Both the Russian and his teammate will then grab the hapless victim and do a Piledriver that drains half of their life away! It does even more damage if you have a power character as a teammate. It's also easier to do than the Final Atomic Buster I might add.....
