Morrigan
"My beauty can overcome brains and brawn."

Morrigan Aensland is a powerful, ancient creature. As a Succubus, she survives by seducing men in their sleep and stealing their souls. Everything she says and does is sexual in nature. For some reason, Onslaught's soul is especially attractive to her so she's taken a break from her regular feasting to find him. Morrigan is the only Darkstalker that managed to make the cut for this game. It appears that by the time this game comes around, she has absorbed Lilith into herself. Basically a shoto-clone, she's one of the better characters in the game and one of the easiest to learn.

Move Commands

Shell Kick (air)+MK
Morrigan's legs transform into a drill as she positions herself parallel to the ground. This move has insane air priority and will beat any other move as long as Morrigan is slightly above her opponent. It's useful in air fights and can be used as an AC Finisher.

Shell Pierce (air)+HK
Morrigan's legs become surrounded by bat wings which form a drill as she rapidly falls downward. It's much like Wolverine's stomp and should be used similarly. Get above your opponent and pull it off for a quick surprise attack.

Soul Fist +P
This is Morrigan's projectile move. It looks like her powered up EX fireball in the Darkstalker series and is an extremely powerful fireball which is only rivaled by Ryu's. When done in the air, Morrigan can do an almost infinite number of these because they propel her slightly upward. Combined with her air dash, Morrigan can use this move to play a very annoying game of keep away.

Shadow Blade +P
Morrigan turns one of her bat wings into a blade and then quickly glides upward. This move has extreme priority and is very useful for air defense. I'm not sure if she's invincible while doing it but her horizontal and vertical range while doing this move pretty much protects her. Use it as you would a Shotokan Dragon Punch. It can also be used in the air as a quick surprise attack or as an AC Finisher.

Vector Drain +P
Morrigan grabs her opponent and flies into the sky with him. She then uses her boosters to smash em down on the ground. This move is a blockable throw and must be done up close. If she does not catch her opponent with it, Morrigan loses her balance and flaps her arms while trying to regain it. It does a lot of damage but leaves her vulnerable if it is blocked or misses.

Supermove Commands

Soul Eraser +2P(Level One)
Morrigan commands a whole bunch of her bats to join together to make a very slick looking gun and two satellite cannons. She then fires a lot of semi thick beams of energy at her opponent. It's not comboable but it's a very fast super with no recovery delay whatsoever making this move uncounterable. This attack does incredible damage and will simply kill your opponent if it connects. It does ok chipping damage but you should set it up with a helper to get Maximum damage.

Silhouette Blade +2P(Level One)
Morrigan raises her arm as several images of Lilith appear out of the ground. The Lilith images then attack the opponent one after another, looking a lot like a very fast wave super. She can combo it like a Shoryu Reppa for a sure hit. It doesn't do as much damage as the rest of her supers, but it's the only one that can be easily comboed consistently. Use it whenever you can set it up.

Darkness Illusion +2K(Level One)
Morrigan rushes forward with her rocket booster and smashes into her opponent. She creates a mirror image of herself and it helps her to beat the crap out of her hapless opponent. It does about 33 hits on the ground. She can do it in the air as well and it is possible to use as an AC Finisher. I'm just not sure exactly how to do it. The air version is different and does 35 hits. It can also OTG but for only one lousy hit. It's a very powerful super and it does more damage than a Soul Eraser. It does no chipping damage though so make sure it connects.

Eternal Slumber LP, MK, , MP, HK(Level Three)
Morrigan and Lilith float into the sky on top of a flying bat carpet as they blow a heart at their opponent. The heart moves very slowly and can be easily dodged. However, it is an unblockable projectile and often takes many people by surprise. When it hits, a curtain falls over the screen and Morrigan's silhouette can be seen throwing the opponent around. As the curtain disappears, Morrigan stand over her fallen victim while licking her fingers. Who knows what goes on behind that curtain?

Team Counter

Soul Fist HP+HK(Level One)
Like any other fireball counter, use this only against single hit fireballs and slow attacks. If you've got good timing, you can use her to counter multi hitting supers like Berserker Barrage X and Senretsu Kyaku. Just wait until they're almost done attacking and they'll get hit as they finish their super. Don't try it on a long distance super though.

Team Super

Soul Eraser HP+HK(Level Two)
This is a great team super to use as a back up. Just start it off with a character that can combo his team super and let Morrigan pile on the damage with her imitation Mega Optic Blast/Proton Cannon. This move will also leave your team safe from counter attacks because of it's range and size.
