Hyper Venom
"Spiderman must pay for his sins!"


Oh boy! I guess Venom went and drank his Jolt Cola. As Hyper Venom he is on permanent Berserker Rage mode, making him extremely fast and causing shadows to trail behind him. A lot of people call this character Carnage. However, I refuse to be insulted like that. There is no way that this character could be Carnage. Uh uh. Nope. This is Hyper Venom. He's got different special moves from the regular version and he takes damage like a sissy. Don't get hit if you're using Hyper Venom cause one super will kill him.

Move Commands

Lunge Bite +P
Instead of doing a Venom Fang, he'll bite down on his opponents with a huge mouth that forms around his arms. Normally, this move is done by holding forward on the joystick and pressing HP at the same time. However, as Hyper Venom, this move hits multiple times, comes out extremely fast and combos very easily.

Diving Bite +P(air)
A fireball motion in the air will make Hyper Venom come down at an angle and attack his opponent. It is very similar to Akuma's Diving Demon Kick or Strider's air Ame No Murakamo. It hits multiple times and does good damage. It's also useful as a surprise move.

Symbiote Shield +K
Part of Hyper Venom's costume pops up and acts as a shield for him. You can get up to three hits with the Roundhouse version. You must hit the kick buttons to get the additional attacks. If it completely misses the opponent, simply stop hitting the kick button so that Hyper Venom can recover quickly. It's great as an anti air move or when placed in a combo.

Web Slam +P
Hyper Venom shoots out a web line at his opponent. He then repeatedly slams them to the ground before chucking them to the wall. The punch button used determines the angle that he shoots out the web. From weakest to strongest, the web goes straight forward, at a forty-five degree angle or straight up. Spinning the joystick and jamming on the buttons will make Venom do additional slams for more damage.

Supermove Commands

Venom Web +2P(Level One)
Hyper Venom jumps into the middle of the screen and releases a huge web. When it hits the opponent, he crawls toward them and does an auto combo ending in a Venom Fang. I like to call it "Web On X" for obvious reasons. Muhahahaha!! It does great damage and can cross up opponents since he jumps slightly forward while starting it. However, he shines just before jumping, which let's your opponents see it a mile away. It's best to pull it off after a mistake or after a helper attack.

Death Bite +2K(Level One)
Venom's costume oozes into the ground and repeatedly pummels his opponent. This is what I refer to as a "surfing" super. Like the Gamma Wave and Magnetic Shockwave before it, the opponent becomes a reluctant surfer on this wave of symbiote. It does excellent damage and will combo after a S.Roundhouse. Watch out though because his recovery on this move is horrible, leaving him vulnerable to quick counter attacks.

Team Counter

Lunge Bite HP+HK(Level One)
A good counter for just about any normal attack or fireball. However, it is nearly useless against beam supers. I'm pretty sure that it's fast enough to catch multi hitting supers though.

Team Super

Death Bite HP+HK(Level Two)
It's best to have Venom starting the team super because of the fact that he can combo it! His Death Bite will compliment just about any other super and will do great chipping damage. Watch out though because if Venom is the support character, he'll be vulnerable to counter attack.
