Captain America
"I fight loudly for those with no voice."

Steve Rogers used to be a skinny little runt that wasn't any help to his country. When World War II came along, he was rejected from joining the military for being such a little runt. Steve then agreed to become the Guinea Pig for a top secret super soldier experiment. He then became the perfect human, gaining super strength, speed, agility and intelligence. Armed with a Vibranium alloy shield Steve became the legendary Captain America.

Move Commands

Shield Slash +P
Cap throws his shield at his opponent. Under normal circumstances, it should connect and then return to him, like a boomerang. It's quite fast and it does very good damage. He can throw his shield from the air to use as a keep away maneouver or as an AC finisher and he can OTG with it after a knockdown. Watch out cause he'll have to play fetch if it misses, so make sure it connects.

Stars & Stripes +P
Cap rises into the air while using his shield to knock his opponent upward. It's basically a Dragon Punch move and it's a great anti air attack. It's incredibly fast and will combo after many of his ground attacks as well. He is virtually invincible while doing it. Watch out if he misses though cause he'll be left extremely vulnerable while coming down.

Charging Stars +K
Cap rushes forward while holding his shield in front of him. It neutralizes fireballs and allows him to hit his opponent while still in their fireball stun. It can be used to end most of his ground combos and to OTG. However, it should be used minimally bercause the recovery delay leaves Cap extremely vulnerable. If this move is blocked, the opponent has the longest time to counter attack.

Cartwheel +P
Cap does a cartwheel that moves him about a third of a screen forward. It's a useful move to use when Cap has to go fetch his Shield. The Cartwheel is extremely quick and can be used to get on the other side of your opponent and confuse them. He's invincible while in the middle of the move but he can be thrown.

Supermove Commands

Final Justice +2P(Level One)
"FINAL JUSTICE"! The super that gets the whole crowd into the game. Cap charges toward his opponent and knocks them into the air. It's followed by a combo beatdown and an exploding suplex. This move has been greatly improved just because of the fact that it is now comboable! Yes that's right, you can set this killer move up with a S.Roundhouse. You'd think that Capcom would lessen the damage inflicted now that it's comboable, but they've made it as powerful as ever.

Hyper Charging Stars +2K(Level One)
A super version of his Charging Stars. He has a huge energy shield in front of him while rushing toward his opponent. It does a lot of damage but it is very slow coming out. Anyone with half a brain can block this if it's not set up ahead of time. It chips a good amount of damage and is useful in a desperate cheese fight. The great thing is the fact that Cap is completely invincible from attack during this super. Pull it off whenever your opponent tries a slow starting attack like legion or a two on one to catch em while they're vulnerable. It's also comboable after either a helper attack or a S.Roundhouse

Hyper Stars and Stripes +2P(Level One)
Cap's version of the Shoryu Reppa. It comes out instantly, so if your opponent isn't blocking before Cap pulls this off, they'll get hit. It chains beautifully off of his ground combos, it does a lot of damage and it's cool as hell. Watch out if it's blocked because Cap will be left wide open to counter attack as he's coming down.

Team Counter

Stars and Stripes HP+HK(Level One)
A good move for countering opponents up close like other Dragon Punch counters. Don't try countering beam supers with it or risk getting Cap toasted.

Team Super

Hyper Charging Stars or Hyper Stars and Stripes HP+HK(Level Two)
Depending on wether or not Cap starts the team super determines which move he does. Either one works great cause they both do good damage and they're both fast. The Stars and Stripes will combo very easily because of it's great speed and the Charging Stars is a useful back up super that does good chipping damage.
