Evil Small-Caps Test

Procedure

Type something in the text input on the left, in mixed case.
Hit the Copy button.
The text input on the right will display the Small-Caps version of what you typed.
Medial s (ſ) should transform to something that looks like S
Ligatures like fl and ß should transform to something that looks like FL or Ss
Terminal sigma (terminal σ - that is, ς) should transform to something that looks like capital sigma (Σ)

Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows 2000 SP4 and on Windows XP SP2

Medial s was incorrectly left as is.
Ligature f-l was incorrectly left as is.
German sharp-s was incorrectly left as is.
Correctly translated both sigmas to a capital sigma.

Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows 98 Second Edition

Lower-case medial s and ligature f-l were displayed as rectangles.
Medial s was incorrectly left as is.
Ligature f-l was incorrectly left as is.
German sharp-s was incorrectly left as is.
Correctly translated both sigmas to a capital sigma.

Firefox 1.0.4 on Windows 2000 SP4 and on Fedora Core 3

Medial s was correctly translated to capital S.
Ligature f-l was incorrectly left as is.
German sharp-s was correctly uppercased to a "double capital S" - "SS" - which could only be selected/highlighted as a single element.
Correctly translated both sigmas to a capital sigma.

Opera 8.0 on Windows 2000 SP4

Medial s was correctly translated to capital S.
