| In the mid-eighties a road-side worker left his shovel in the ditch he had been working in. After his lunch break was over he jumped into the ditch and impailed himself on the shovel in one unspeakable cavity. I have heard several variations of this story including one where the man jumped in and landed on a pick-axe sticking out of the side of the ditch leaving him hanging there. | |||||||||
