I recently checked the house out myself and the freakiness of it is unreal. I will be posting pictures I took very soon.
The story behind the house has many variations , but the most common one is that the house was occupied a slave-owning government official and apparently one night one of the slaves escaped from the building that they were locked up in at night and murdered his entire family. It is said that at times the official and his family can be seen looking for the slave to punish him.
The most outlandish story about the house is that it is the home of the original Bloody Mary. This story can be found in nearly every small town and large city.
