I have tried to visit the sight twice now and have not been able to make it any farther than the bridge next to the path that leads you there. In my first attempt after reaching the bridge that you park at to start hiking the old tracks to the tunnel I got out of my car to find a football shaped object with the bloody smeared words "f#ck @ff" written on it ,surrounded by freshly lit candles .As many of you know I personnally dont believe in ghosts , but.... Ido believe in crazy drunk good old boys and decided to come back with someone the next time and not go heading into the strange woods by myself.
My next trip was a bit more harrowing . I took off with my brother - in - law full of spit and vinigar . No drunk rednecks were going to stop me this time . As we drove diown the freshly cleared snowy road we started down a steep hill when suddenly the entire road was covered in ice . A small creek had overflowed with the melting snow and had frozen up leaving the road and all the surrounding area coverd in ice. Amazing my beloved truck managed to make it through with out sliding off the road or into a tree . but then there came the giant ice covered hill. We made through some of the craziest driving I have ever seen and eventually made it back.
In conclusion I have decided one of two things either I have the wrst luck in the world or something is trying to tell me something.
