Mark Rest Center started out as a tuberculosious home where TB victims were quarentined from the rest of the world until they passed away or recovered. It was converted into a nursing home later and has many ghost stories now that the staff like to tell.
Perhaps the most widely sighted of them is the ghost of a young orderly who worked there . According to the staff that worked with him he loved his job and and his patients very much . Unfortunately he was a victim of asthma and succombed to it in his early twenties. Since then he has been sighted in the halls and checking over sick residents. He has even been said to help out the short-staffed workers there at times.
Mark Rest is also said to be the home of a staple nursing home spectre called the Man in Blue . To read more on this check the ghastly section of this site.
