Where'd you get your inspiration?
Actually, I... ever since I was young, I used to read books and I used to see that other illustrators used to draw and say, "Wow! I can't believe someone could draw this with such nice colors!" Then I got into comics. I decided, "Why not write a comic book of my own?" I asked my brother if he'd read a cominc that I wrote. He said "I don't know," and I decided to give it a shot.Then I got inspired by Japanese animation because I like the style.
Ok. Next, question number two. Was the plot easy to come up with?
Actually, it was pretty easy.
Did you base your characters on anyone? Who?
That's a tough one. Asagi has parts of me and other personalities and characteristics that I son't have. I made her popular, so I kinda spoiled my character. I made her brave-- I think I would scream for dear life.
Anything else? How about anyone else-- because sometimes it comes out subconciously and you just ask, "Hey! How'd that person get in here?!"
Um, actually Shinro reminds me of someone I kinow-- too nice, you know-- it just freaks me out!
Moving on. How long do you think it'll take til it's published?
A long time.
Ok. Any particular attitude towards the manga? I know it's special, but what do you feel towards it?
I just hope someone enjoys it. I'm writing it more for the viewers. A specific attitude? That's a hard question... (looks around room for a moment and thinks) I mean, give me choices! I'm doing this and I'm gonna finish. It's like a hobby and mission.
What drove you to write the manga?
I read a lot of manga and I used to read it thinking, "How do they come up with such amazing plots? The art is amazing!" I decided I'm gonna challenge myself. I'm gonna do a manga and I'm gonna try to get a plot. It was a challenge I hope to overcome. I just wanna be a manga artist.
