Birth and Family:
Stacie Joy Orrico was born in Seatle WA on Morch 3rd 1986. Here parrents are Dean and Patty. She has an older brother named Jesse, an older sister, Rachel, and two younger siblings that are twins.
Music Correr:
At age 12, Stacie competed at her first ever vocal competition in 1998 at the Estes Parks Christian Artists Seminar. That's where she was discovered. She got signed to Forefront Records.
1st CD:
Her first single, "Don't Look At Me," was released on June 29th, 2000. Her first CD, Genuine, came out in 2000 and was an immediate success. Stacie's debut cd was rushed to the top of the charts. After her cd came out she released "Genuine" and "With A Little Faith." On April 3rd, 2001 "Without Love" was released as a single. In May of 2001 "Everything" was released. In Augest "Stay True" was released as the final single to the first Christian Pop Princess debut cd.
Touring:
Destiny Childs hand picked Stacie Orrico to go tour with them. She then went on her own tour.
Awards and Records:
Her single "Don't Look at Me" broke the record for most weeks at #1 on the CHR chart in 2000. It was #1 for eight weeks in a row. It also won Song of the Year by CHR Radio. Her debut CD Genuine had the highest sales debut for a new solo female artists in Christian music history! Genuine debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Heatseekers chart and Christian Retailing chart. Stacie had the single largest debut for a new artist at ForeFront Records, her record compony. Stacie was nominated for three Dove Awards: New Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year! Nominated for a Billboard Music Award for her video "Genuine" twice already, for 2000 and 2001.

2nd CD:
Her second CD came out last year. It's a Christmas CD.
Spirit West Coast:
Stacie appeared at Spirit West Coast 2002. She performed old hits plus songs that are on her upcoming album.
3rd CD:
Her upcoming CD titled Say It Again has been pushed back about 5 times. It is now set for Jan. of 2003. Let's hope it stays that way. Mean while, her single off her new album, "Bounce Back," is rocking the airwaves. On this CD Forefront Records has teamed up with Virgin Records (A secular record compony). Stacie has done this so that she can reach out to a wider audience. She feels like God wants her to reach out to more than just the people that listen to Christian music and radio. She can reach out to a wider audience if she goes on secular radio too. Virgin Records is braught in on this project so that she can be played on secular radio. Her first single that is going to be released on secular radio is called "Stuck." It's about being stuck in a relationship.
