Plus One is quite possibly one of the greatest Christian groups of all time. They were the top selling Christian group of 2000. Their first cd, The Promise set the record for Christian debut sales in one week. In 2001 they were honored with the GMA New Artist of the Year. They started off their correr opening for Jaci Velazquez in a 62 city tour. Later, they did their own headlining tour. They have guessed stared on "Days Of Your Lives" and "Touched By An Angel" and appeared on talk shows such as "Live with Regis and Kelly." They also have a song on the Pokemon 2000 The Power of One Soundtrack.
Their first cd, The Promise, had 6 singles released from it. These singles are "Written On My Heart," "God Is In This Place," "The Promise," "My Life," "Soul Tattoo," and "Last Flight Out." All these songs where big hits on the charts. "Written On My Heart" was the number one song requested on the Disney Channel while "Last Flight Out" hit the top 5 on Radio Disney.
In early 2002 Plus One released their second cd, Obvious. Plus One has a bigger influence on this cd. The got co-writting credit for 10 out of the 12 songs. This cd shows how Plus One has grown over the last 2 years. Their first single, "Camoflauge," is a song about not wanting to blend in, not being ashaimed of who you are. Their second single, "Forever," is more of a love song to God. Their third single, "Going Crazy," is big on Radio Disney. Because of Plus One's big success on Radio Disney, Plus One was signed to do the Radio Disney Tour which runs July through September of 2002. Plus One also performed "God Bless America" at Muhammad Ali's eighth annual Celebrity Fight Night benefit. Plus One has a Christmas Album set to be released Sept. 17th, 2002.
