Yeah so I'm in school and don't I know it
Typical day at USC
9am: wake up and try to get ready for the, uh-hum, joy, that is school. call mom and talk about odd dreams and how much I hate alarms 10am: first class of the day, either theory or aural skills. hey classes usually only last an hour so I'll live. 11am: usually grab jamba and a choclate chip muffin with Niki at Cafe '84 down the street. 12pm: back in class till 1, then class till 2, then class till 3:30 (I really hate these days) 3:30 walk back to apartment, try and figure out which fast food place to eat at for dinner and complain about being broke to my mom via cell phone. 4:00 watch Law and Order, place homework in front of me so I feel like I'm at least trying to be productive. 7:30 wake up after falling asleep on the sofa, decide on Panda Express (again). return all missed calls, start stressing about homework due next day 8:00 finish Panda, finish oversized Coke bought at corner store, make a list of everything left to do in the coming hours and days, then channel surf to find the best crime drama 11:30 the Simpsons are over, either turn off TV, or watch Will and Grace. then start on homework if I'm awake, or decide to "do it in the morning when I have more energy" which is college code for, "I"m going to bed, I'll find an excuse to get an extension, cause lord knows I'm not getting up a minet before I have to" 2:30 if still up doig homework 1st) celebrate the fact that I had a few hours of productivity in my day, er, morning and 2nd) go to bed without waking up already asleep roomate.
That's me all dressed up for my High School Graduation. I graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School, home of the Jackrabbits, c/o 2003. I had an overall GPA of 3.8, and over 350 credits. Bye bye high school, hello college!

More Random Junk About the School and I
I'm currently a Freshman, majoring in Music Education. However, all hopes pending I'll be a Composition Major in the fall. Of corse this means adding a extra year to my sentance here, and another unmentionable amount to my parent's, er, I mean, my student loan. I live in a University owned and opperated appartment building with three other girls. There's Kathy, my roomate, a bio-chem/pre-pharmacy major from Stockton, Catie, a theater major from D.C. who can sing like all hell, and Nora, a film major from Kentucky who got me addicted to the O.C. Besides from the fact that I do incredibly well and hold down a part time job teaching jazz in LA, I have absolutly no connection to this school. Just kidding. I've wanted to go here since sophomore year of high school. Trust me, the day I got accepted (Apil Fool's of all days) was full of tears and screaming-mostly from my mother. I was hoping to be joined my dear friend Maya, but she deceided that UC Santa Cruz was the place to be, and I miss her oh so much. Um, what else about the school...well, I must confess that after all the complaining and whining I do, I really do love it here. The faculty are amazing, the students are great, the work is wonderful, and get to bother my parents on the weekends, make mom do laundry and bug them about "what's for dinner?" As far as classes go, this semester I'm taking Aural Skills, Theory, Writing 140, the Holocaust, and my private lesson, and that's an amazing LIGHT load. Next semester it's looking like 10 classes and 19 units (the normal is 4 classes and 16 units). Thanks Thornton School of Music. Here's some random info for ya-our school colors are "Maze" not red, "Maze" and Gold. Our mascot-Tommy Trojan and our football team-#1 in the nation, thanks to Poly Grad, Hershell Dennis, #34. Tuition is, as previously mentioned, $42,000 a year and of corse my mom works three jobs so I don't see a dime of financial aid. Go being white, a girl, upper middle class and comming from parents with an education-wahoo. Hell, I don't even get work-study, but at least I have my own parking space right? Yeah, that makes up for everything!
Maya and I over SC's Spring Break-I visited her at UCSC and we rocked the house!!! On the right-Maya's feet last year in AP English, 1st period
