Friends

Who needs enemies when you can have friends? I mean in all honesty how many of you out there actually have true friends. And by friends i don't mean people who you hang out with because no one else wants to talk to you, I mean people who actually care what happen to you, who don't backstab and don't let you down. Just as I thought, none of you have real friends, but don't worry, because i don't think anyone really does. I mean i think it's kinda stupid to believe that these people will care more about what happens to you than themselves, and there's really nothing wrong with that. I mean people are self-absorbed by nature. But the problem with society is that we all think we have friends, so we put our faith in them, only to be backstabbed, let down, or lied to. You think that your friends would have the common decency to not do something when they knew you wanted to do it. But see that would mean putting faith in another person, which is a really ridiculous thing to do. Friends will only let you down, because the humyn race as a whole is flawed. Everyone looks down on people who only look out for themselves and don't care who they hurt to get their goal. But in my opinion, these people are the only ones who actually know what they are doing. No matter how good a friend you are to someone, you can't expect them to care about actually helping you out, when by lying to you they can get what they want. So I say we should all forget about the whole *friend* complex we all seem to have and instead just look out for ourselves, because in reality we're the only ones who really will. Now I know you all probably think I'm a real bitch right now, but the truth is that I, myself, haven't found a way to actually practice what I preach. People need to feel like they belong, so they cling to people who they believe need them or want to be around them. And that's a pretty hard character flaw to change. But hopefully one day people will realize this problem and as a whole society will change for the better, and no one will get hurt by anyone else, because no one will put their faith in anyone else.
