The Mind behind the Muurr

scary, huh

This is my darling kitty, Misty. She is the only house cat.
Misty, my adorable kitty.
Misty
She started out as a companion for my first cat, Kiki, but after a severe illness took Kiki away, she remains alone. She was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia on her first visit to the vet, but those tests have a high chance of being wrong the first time. She was given a clean bill of health a few weeks later.
Misty takes a nap, again.

Needless to say I worried about her the whole time. Shes been a member of my family for almost 13 years now and I love her dearly.

She has two favorite places to sleep. The first is at the foot of my bed in a pink, fluffy cat bed with white faux fur trim. The other is in a toy dog house, which lets her peek out at people from inside.

I confess to being a complete cat fanatic since I was adopted by Misty and Kiki. I'm afraid I tend to endlessly tell stories about my kitty and confess that this is just another way of doing so. Still, she's so adorable, how could I resist? Her influence has led me to write kitty stories and even she is my constant inspiration for Muurr. Misty truely is the mind behind Muurr with one really big difference. If Misty saw an orc, beetle, crab, or heck, even a rabbit, she would run away. Perhaps it's not that she's a scardy-cat (even though she is) she just realizes that in those type of situations it's better to be far, far away. Muurr does not share this characteristic. Nor Misty's constant need to preen, sleep, or desire to eat cat food. Actually, I'm not sure they have anything in common but being cat-like. And the belief that they are the best of their kind (Misty ~ Kitty, Muurr ~ Paladin).
