Leaving Kahzam

Muurr as a thf?

I just wanted to ride the airship. It was forbidden. To forbid something like that is harsh because mithra like me will always be challenging such an order. I was little, only 10, but my mother had told me they expected big things from me. I now know every mother says this to her kitten but to me it was something the entire clan expected of just me. I think that gave me too much confidence. I suppose I could claim that I was little and didnt understand what would happen but it wouldnt be true. I knew of the other mithra who left, sailed away to a place called Windhurst, and created a new clan. I wanted to see that place, to see how those mithra lived. I wanted to see Jeuno where every race lived, every event happened, and every item was available for sale. I knew the rule, once you left Kahzam you were never welcome back. I got on the airship anyway.

The Airship at dock in Kazham.
Airship

It wasnt hard to do. Yes, there was a big galka guarding the entrance but only at the gate. I went further down the dock and climbed onto the airship pier. They didnt pay attention to what happened on the pier all that much. From there it was easy. The Adventurers were all to preoccupied to pay any mind to a small out-of-place mithra.

Jeuno was amazing! I wasnt permitted to do much though. I never even left the port; all the ships coming and going fascinated me. It was all so exciting. I was content there until I meet Stalking Turtle (galka names are so weird), an enormous galka who walked right up to me and said,

Better run little kitty, youre just another snack to me and I havent eaten today.

Now I would just bash him upside the head with my shield, galka-phobia or no, but then I was little and I thought he really meant it. I ran down some stairs and hid behind some boxes that belonged to the duty-free shop. After that every time I saw Stalking Turtle I was in for further harassment. He always had something to say and he started pulling my tail, trying to sit on me, or step on my tail every time. One day he picked me up, held my hands at my sides and bit my ear. Looking back, he didnt really hurt me but then I screamed and cried until someone came up and yelled at him to let me go. I didnt stay to see who was kind enough to help, I ran back down to the Kahzam Airship Dock. I didnt go inside, I just hid at the base of the stairs crying. When I finally stopped, I decided to leave Jeuno. To this day, I have never seen Stalking Turtle again, though I look for him. I would like to have a few words with him.
