A collection of various ayahs from the Qur'an and Hadith on being active.

"Let there arise from amongst you a group of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil. It is they who are the successful ones. And do not be like those who differed amongst themselves after the clear proofs had come to them; for them is a painful punishment."
[Surah ali-Imran; 3:104-105]

"Indeed this Ummah of yours is a single Ummah and I am your Lord, so worship Me alone."
[Surah Anbiya; 21:92]

"And hold fast altogether to the rope of Allah and do not become divided."
[Surah al-Imran; 3:102]

"And help you one another in righteousness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and transgression."
[Surah Ma'idah; 5:2]

"And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. Yet He pardons much."
[Surah Shu'rah; 42:30]

"Whatever of good reaches you, it is from Allah, and whatever of evil befalls you, it is from yourself."
[Surah Nisa; 4:79]

"Indeed Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change the condition of themselves."
[Surah ar-Ra'd; 8:25]

"O you who believe. If you help Allah, Allah will help you; and establish your feet firmly. But those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and Allah will make their deeds vain."
[Surah Muhammad; 47:7]

"And those who strive hard in our cause, we shall surely guide them to Our avenues. Indeed Allah is with the doers of good."
[Surah Ankabut; 29:69]

"O you who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be against rich or poor: for God can best protect both. Follow not the desires (of your hearts), lest you swerve, and if you distort justice, or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well- acquainted with all that ye do.
[Surah Nur; 4:135]

"O you who believe! stand firmly for God, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear God. For God is well-acquainted with all that you do."
[5:8]

"Say, My Lord has commanded justice; and that you set your whole selves (in devotion to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall ye return. Some He has guided: Others have deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the Satans, in preference to God, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance."
[7:29-30]

"God commands justice, the doing of good, and giving to kith and kin, and He forbids all indecent deeds, and evil and rebellion: He instructs you, that you may receive admonition."
[16:90]

"By time, through the ages; indeed mankind is in loss; except such as have Faith, and do good deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy."
[Surah al-Asr]

"For God loves those who are just."
[60:8]
