The Verses of surah al-Hashr

Ma'qal ibn Yasser (radiAllahu anhu) reports the the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) as saying;
"he who recited the last three verses of surah al-Hashr three times in the morning after saying; a'udhu billahi min ash-shaitan ar-rajeem (I seek refuge in Allah from shaitan the accursed) for him Allah will appoint seventy-thousand angels to beseach mercy for him until the evening, and if he dies the same day he will be given the status of a martyr, and if he recites the verses in the evening the same will be dome for him till morning
[at-Tirmidhi, Darmi]

(The morning is classified as being after sunrise, and the evening is classified as being after the afternoon Asr prayer)



The verses

huwa Allahu alladhī la ilaha illa huwa 'alimu alghaibi wash-shahadati huwa arraHmanu arrahim

Allah is He, other than Whom there is no other god; Who knows both what is hidden and what can be witnessed; He is the Most Compassionate and Merciful

huwa Allahu alladhī la ilaha illa huwa alMaliku alQuddusu asSalaamu alMu�minu alMuhaiminu al'Azizu alJabbaaru alMutakabbiru subhana Allahi 'amma yushrikuna

Allah is He, other than Whom there is no other god; the Sovereign, the One, the Source of Peace, the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Security, the Exalted, the Compelling, the Supreme. Glory be to God, beyond any associations.

huwa Allahu alKhaliqu alBari�u alMusawwiru Lahu al�asmaa�u alhusna yusabbihu lahu ma fī assamaawati wal�arđi wahuwa al'Azizu alHakiim



He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Form. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: Whatever exists in heaven and earth declares His Praise and Glory. And He is Exalted in Power, the Wise.
