1. First of all, kindly introduce yourself and the other members of the band.

2. Can you give us a brief history of the band? How do you guys manage to hook up with each other working together couple of years from now.

Whippersnapper : Well most of us met in high school, some of us even earlier. Pat and I played in garage rock bands together since we were thirteen years old. We're coming up on ten years of playing together. Jason lived in the same town as us and joined whippersnapper when it first formed. Andy Belote and Mike Fink were in another Atlanta band called Whatnot! and they became whippersnapper members after we had already recorded America's Favorite Pastime. So We've been together for five years now put out two records, toured the states a fuck load and Europe twice.

3. I noticed that most of your songs are for girls and stuff like that how do you get the inspiration writing these stuff??

Whippersnapper : The usual way. Live it, write it.

4. How do you consider working with Lobster Records from the other labels you get hooked with like Second Heaven?

Whippersnapper : Lobster was our main record label so they were way different from Second Heaven which was an internet music company that we licensed our first record previous to AFP on. They were both great, Lobster always gave us a good deal of moral support and did what they could to make things happen.

5. The generic poppunk sound is very common what's the difference of Whippersnapper sound to the other skate/emo/punk bands?

Whippersnapper : We just have alot of odd ideas about the form. We try and write songs that aren'ta song you've heard already. Sometimes we fail. We've been accused on a regular basis of being really technical, but we're also all about getting an emotional point across with music and lyrics.

6. Alt.Guitar.Com is my favorite song from you guys who wrote this one? And what's the story behind this song? Is there a story behind it?

Whippersnapper : I wrote it and there is a story but it's pretty personal. Generally it's about a dependant person who can't be happy without sacrificing herself for others and in the process fucking up her own life and another person who is in love with this girl but can't show it because he wants her to become independent and happy on her own so that he can truly be involved with her and not fill the void of need she has. In the end they have to say goodbye. She fails, but he takes the memory of what she could be with him. True story.

7. Is there any possibility for you guys to tour here in the Philippines in the near future?

Whippersnapper : I wish. But you never know. This year could be really good for us and we could make it there. Let's hope so I've heard it's really cool.

8. What country here in Southeast Asia that you find interesting touring?

Whippersnapper : I'd find any of them interesting to tour or visit. I love to travel and to see different cultures and areas.

9. Who's your number one crush of all time?

Whippersnapper : That is the kind of thing that should remain a secret.

10. Thank you so much.. Anything you want to impart? Last words?

Whippersnapper : Thank you. Look out for a new record from us in the upcoming year. Rocknroll. Over and out.
