Kontra klasse�were probably the third generation legendary bastion of articulate anarcho existence within the East central Tarlac active scene. It was formed in Mid May 2001 because of the reason that their individual bands gone hiatus. Kontra klasse was inspired by bands like Destroy, Assuck, Drop Dead, Dis-k, Excruciating Terror, D.D.I., Capitalist Casualties and others. And the outcome is a breed of dueling political power violence that struggles for the oppressed vertically challenged individuals, and discusses awareness from those greed opportunist authoritarian. Kontra klasse is simply defined as a cause oriented class struggle. In June 2, 2001 was their primal live terror show held at the common D.i.Y gig venue known as LMJ Jam café, which became commercial recreation area. The scene of Tarlac have lost its gig setting and that they are now looking for a new aggressive invations. |
The band also attend a gig tour in Baguio (Northern Skatecore scene) with some Laguna South thugs and some anarcho outfit from Manila area. Ron was not present that time for he was busy rushing out his architectural design construction works, Eugene of Bleeding Cross replaces the vocal.
Kontra klasse have started building repertoire of songs since they finally decided to exist actively for the reason that Tarlac is presently having obvious scene inactivity. The band comprises of some legendary individuals: Junarchy (formerly Suicide not Death) and Ron (formerly Red Corpse) who both write materials and play the voices, Spice (formerly Barricade) Guitar, Pykes (formerly Suicide not Death) guitar, Jun (formrerly Alingawngaw Sa Pozonegro) Bass, and Eyoy (formerly Suicide not Death) play the drums. The band will soon release, with their own rehearsal demo with proposing title "Results of Terror" under Redcore label, also a local compilation cassette tape in support to Rust collective project. The band is also preparing for some contributions to some local and foreign releasing labels. Ron is also the editor of Tarlac's premier O.M.O. ethic political punk zine Noisecore which is now having its last issue 2001, but still active with his own d.i.y. Production Premature atmostfear which was just reborn earlier and have organized a comeback d.i.y project last May 12, 2001 entitled "Unite to Resist" and "Casualties of War and Terror" tentatively on November 30, 2001, which will be another aggressive scene, the Production plan is to organize some few largescale and small gigs within a year. And with his Redcore label and distro, which is now preparing to distro kontra klasse stuffs like T- shirts, Patch, Stickers and etc. also other local stuffs.
