| Brandon Mendez tends to favor the irony of his nihilism,
to reluctantly be intrepid when only necessary. Ambition rises in his
heart only when worldly pleasures are involved, especially in the case
of substances that induce self-gratification. His self-learned helplessness
has earned him a reputation among his peers and truency officers. His
beau Julia, however, inspires him to try better, albeit with prolonged
hesitation.
Being "immune to the disease of fashion", Brandon often wears
a black hoodie (with plain white shirt underneath), baggy blue or black
jeans (with boxers underneath, as they, according to Brandon, "Don't
hinder my stash."), and Chuck Taylor's. This, accompanied with a
ski mask or a black beanie with an eye mask, is his usual disguise when
taking on misadventures.
