After becoming friends with Julia and Nathan, and finding out they all had super powers they formed a super human group. Through this group they met other good and bad, kids with mutant powers. A few of those mutants that joined seemed to become leaders (a position in which Jeremy had placed himself.). Jeremy never has gotten over this. He plans to take back that which he thinks is rightfully his.

There is one mutant he doesn't wish to boss around, Cheetah. During their battles Jeremy has almost died at her hands and vice versa. However even after this he has found that he loves Cheetah, as a soul mate.
