| Welcome to the rather low-buget (free) website of the band Mutant Cabaray. If you are wondering who we are or indeed what we are then please read on. Spunk Mutant in it's original line-up met at school in Higham Ferrers, Northants, England. That classic line-up consisted of Barnz, Chaz, Doz En also Firkz. They recorded the debut album 'Bob's Your Spunkle' in 1987 and embarked on a massive tour of Rushden and Higham. This tour, planned to co-incide with the release of the band's number 7 single 'The Garden', proved to be the end of Line up number 1. The pressures of extensive touring and the living out of a suitcase was just too much for Chaz and Firkz and they left. Firkz became the secret 3rd member of the proclaimers and Chaz went back to his old band 'Spear Of Destiny' (SOD) |

| Bellends The second, critically acclaimed MC album 'Tubular Bellends' saw the band reach new heights with an appearance on Channel 4s 'Coffee with Nathe' with host Nathan Carter. This line up consisted of Barnz, Doz and long-time-friend Marz on Geetarz. They later went on to record a song about Carter (Nathe the love god) which is on the album 'Phallus in Wonderland'. The album peaked at number 23 but went straight in at number 5 in Finland. Discharge Marz discharged himself from the band in 1995 when he realized he didn't have time for both of his two passions, music and cheese. 'The whole cheese thing was starting to take over my mind at the time. Every weekend I would be pretending to be ill so I could go to a cheese festival instead of band practice. It wasn't fair on the other guys really' remembers a tearful Marz. |
