Jubilation Lee - or Jubilee, as she is better known - was raised in the wealthy area of Beverly Hills, California. It seemed Jubilee had it all - loving parents, wealth, a good education as well becoming a talented gymnast - but it was not too last.
All of this came to an abrubt end when Jubilee's parents were murdered.
Orphaned and forced to survive in a world very different from that of her old life, Jubilee escaped from her carers, and found herself in a Hollywood mall. She lived here for a time, until she was caught by mall security, and panicked. Just then, Jubilee's unique mutant power manifested, and she managed to escape.
But being a mutant brought on new problems for Jubilee - she was pursued by a mutant hunter, who wished to capture her. But luckily for her, she was rescued by Storm and Jean Grey, who brought her to her new home, Mutant High.

Jubilee is one of the older students here at Mutant High, but that does not mean she is perfect. She has very little tolerance for authority - actually, it's pretty much squat. She also has kind of a short temper, and you can tell she is mad because her power has a tendancy to show up - and a lot of the time Jubilee does not care who sees. Like in a museum, when in a display about the de-evolution of humanity into mutants.

Jubilee' power is that she is able to generate explosive bursts of energy that are very similar to fireworks - jubilee ones. And like jubilee fireworks, they can vary in power and intensity, under Jubilee's control.
This makes them a very interesting - and probably effective - weapon for Jubilee to use against an opponent.
I just hope she never has to use them on me. . .
