Road Bike Rides

An Open Invitation to NJ Area Cyclists:

The Flying Tiger's Cycling Team will be hosting weekly winter training rides every  Sunday starting in December 2000 (possibly to continue through early March). These rides are designed to give racing and fast recreational cyclists another option to continue their winter base training. We expect to cover between 30 and 50 miles at an average pace of 18 to possibly 20 mph. We will encourage proper ride and paceline etiquette, and offer training tips. This will be a "no drop" ride, but allow room for a few spirited sections (fast flat stints, hill sprints,...etc.). Our team motto of "Good Clean Fun" will prevail.

Flying Tigers Cycling Team Ride Schedule

All start times are for "wheels rolling". We will start promptly at the designated time. All rides may be cancelled due to inclement weather; please contact the ride leader if  in doubt. Any rides may be modified according to participants’ wishes. If you are at all unsure of your abilities, any of the officers or ride leaders would be glad to discuss these rides or to schedule a more limited "check-out" ride with you. Remember, all of these rides embrace our "Good, Clean Fun!" motto (even if suffering is involved).
