Preparing our pupils: Opportunities for flexible on-site & distance study
options:
Pupils can
solve
various examination type questions and post answers to get a feedback; get
tips for writing texts
in preparation for their Secondary School Certificate Examination; use
links to visit various sites
useful for their studies as well as their general knowledge and use the
search engine to browse
the Net. So this is useful for pupils even from other schools within the country
of Oman. They too can access all the educational aid made available here.
Preparing our
pupils: Opportunities for collaboration in Web-projects:
Projects (Web Projects
in particular) provide all students with the opportunity to develop
their potential within the curriculum and outside the curricular limits. Pupils practise not only their
linguistic & communicative skills but their technical skills as well. This
is learning life skills for personal fulfillment. Thus the design of this webpage aims to transcend the
boundaries of countries connecting the youth which can make a difference
to our dear world.
Providing
Opportunities for Teacher Development:
This webpage has helpful
links for teachers of
Our World Through English
series. The articles in this section include reflections of the practitioners of
task-based syllabuses and so are helpful for those who have just started
teaching.
