Big-blond: I understand I won Your wheels for 540+113.20$$$,where that price coming from? It is a mistake? Let me know please?

Me: I am reminding you that you owe me $835.00 + shipping/handling. I do not understand why you choose to play these games of "eBay software" problem. If everyone were to act as childish as you, eBay auctioning would not exist. Be a man and pay me my money. You owe me the $835.00 + , then I owe you the rims. Maybe you do not care on how much time I took off work to package the rims for you. You dont care I purchased extra bubble wrap, since you requested it. You dont care that used four rolls of tape to wrap up your rims. What do I get out of this? Why dont YOU pay for my shipping and handling as well? PLUS the LISTING and CLOSING FEES?

Big-blond: My friend! I don't play games on E-bay like you think,I make good money, and I like it to spend it smart,if you wanna understand that! How many e-mails I send to you back and forth ? Did I ask you if you have a reserve price ? Now remeber when you check last bid you told me you have 520 $$,than somebody bid with 10 $$ more than I put 10 $$ more and I was the last one,Christmas and everythink,I guess everybody was busy and......there I am . Congratulation for winning the action for Arrelly rims with 540 $$ + S&H. I e-mail you so many times with a lot of ???? about your rims. Where did you come out with 835 $$ I don't know!!! About Creatine,ya I take some times but that's for biginners. I'm 235 lb , 31 years old , one is 4 and she is 3, work in sales with cars-Cristy Imports-and bealive me I don't fool people arround. So good luck in your next action! To bad we don't have a deal.

info: You are now chatting with 'Susan'

Susan: Welcome to eBay's Live Chat. How may I assist you?
Me: my item, 16" Arelli Assassyns Rims with Nitto NT450 (Item #1875116849) has closed and the winner is backing out of the bid. Please look at the bid history here>http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw- cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=1875116849 Please advise. He says his last "End of auction" ebay invoice says he won at $530.00 !?!
Me: he is sending the a copy of that invoice to me by tomorrow morning..

Susan: No, the ending bid amount is $835 Susan: and that is how much this bidder owes you

Me: i know, that what i told him..
Me: how do i inforce it?

Susan: The amount that is showing as the final winning bid on the auction page is the one he must follow

Me: ok
Me: here is some more info..

Susan: If he refuses to pay then you'll want to file a nonpaying bidder alert
Susan: And leave negative feedback

Me: what about second chance?
Me: to the second highest bidder?

Susan: Yes, you can do that if he doesn't pay as well

Me: what if the second highest bidder, who is local to me(4 hours)..
Me: and i wanted to finish the deal? at the price they bid at?
Me: im still waiting a response from the second bidder, but i leave out of town saturday morning till jan 6 2003..

Susan: I'm not sure what your last question is. Will you please clarify?

Me: ok
Me: the second runner up had plans to win the bid.
Me: the winner claims he never bid so high..

Susan: .

Me: the second runner up and i was about to meet tomorrow and conduct business
Me: tomorrow, i thought that the second runner up would have won..

Susan: OK, so you want to sell to the second high bidder?

Me: yes..

Susan: Have you sent them a second chance offer through eBay?

Me: but if the second one backs out.. i will go back to pursue the first one..
Me: not yet.. i was waiting on your suggestions

Susan: That sounds good
Me: i have everything filled out ready to go for the second bidder

Susan: I suggest that you do send a second chance offer through eBay
Susan: That way the transaction will be an official eBay one and you'll have all the eBay protections

Me: i emailed them already to get ready , if they are interested..
Me: ok.. question is , how much protection will i have from the first winner if the second one backs out?
Me: is there a "third" second chance?
Me: lol
Me: this is really bad luck..

Susan: Yes, you can send second chance offers to all the bidders on the item
Susan: The offers will be at their high bid however
Susan: Not the high winning bid

Me: oh.
Me: what would you do if you were me? i want to sell the rims ASAP..?

Susan: I really can't give you advice on what to do. That has to be entirely up to you as the seller
Susan: You may want to email the winning bidder and tell him that you're going to offer the item to the second high bidder right away before you leave town
Susan: and that he is going to have to decide right now whether he's going to pay the winning bid amount or not
Susan: and that you're not going to argue with him about what the winning bid amount actually is

Me: well i called him and told him that.. i said fine.. he thinks the ebay software messed him up..
Me: hmmm..

Susan: It doesn't matter what he thinks, the winning bid amount is showing on the auction page
Susan: that is how much he owes
Susan: If he won't pay, then be sure to file a nonpaying bidder alert on him so you can get the final value fee credited back

Me: but what happens when he doesnt pay? just a negative remark?

Susan: When a member gets 3 nonpaying bidder ticks from 3 different sellers, they get suspended

Me: can i still put him on non-paying bidder alert and still sell my rims as "second chance" and not be charged the final fee?

Susan: Yes,

Me: im at least losing $10.00..
Me: yes to all three?

Susan: You can file a nonpaying bidder alert 7 days after the auction ended. Then, you must wait at least 10 days and then you can go back and request the final value fee credit.
Susan: That means you will get the final value fee back on the first auction
Susan: You will, however, be charged a final value fee on the second chance offer if the bidder accepts the offer
Susan: All of the above means that you will end up paying 1 insertion fee and 1 final value fee for this item

Me: ouch..

Susan: Why is that ouch?
Susan: It works out the same whether you sell it to the first bidder or the second bidder if you do it right

Me: true.. but more time involved = more accidents can happen..
Me: heres my plan then..

Susan: Yes, that is true that more time is involved

Me: i will send second chance to runner up..tonight
Me: tomorrow i will confirm that the first winner Refuses to pay
Me: after seven days i will file the non-payment on winner #1

Susan: Yes, that sounds good

Me: if winner #2 wants and responds and paypals me, then i can meet up with them tomorrow afternoon..

Susan: Very good

Me: then when i get back from town, i can requests my credit on winner #1?
Me: what if there Was something strange with the ebay bidding software?
Me: nevermind, i know the answer now..

Susan: There wasn't something strange with the bidding software
Susan: The person is trying to get out of paying you

Me: how did he win two day s before the bid ended?
Me: why didnt it push it up that price automatically?

Susan: He entered his maximum bid amount on the 22nd

Me: which was $835.00?

Susan: In fact, he bid twice on the 22nd

Me: yea..

Susan: Once for a maximum of $520

Me: wait a minute..

Susan: Then, again for a maximum of $835 or above

Me: he said he would buy it off of me for $600
Me: if the other buyer didnt take it
Me: SOB.

Susan: Don't you think that's a bad idea since you have a second high bidder that was willing to pay $825?

Me: of course!
Me: this is really low of people..

Susan: Yes, it certainly is

Me: is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening again?

Susan: I really don't think so.
Susan: In this case, the bidder looked ok
Susan: He has positive feedback and looked like he was serious

Me: yes
Me: is the second chance bid public for anyone to buy?
Me: i sent it to the runner up.. i hope they see it..

Susan: No, the second chance is only for the second high bidder
Susan: No one else can accept it

Me: oh..
Me: what state is your tech center in?
Me: i wish i personally knew some ebay employees..

Susan: We're in Utah

Me: all inhouse, not outsourced?

Susan: Yes, there are some things outsourced. But none of the Live Chat is
Susan: Live Chat is all here at eBay

Me: well, thanks for the help. wanna wish me luck? lol
