- There is no way to know for sure
- What lies on the road ahead
- But be it dark or be it light
- There is no cause for alarm or dread
- For God in His infinite wisdom
- Will always be your guide
- And if we give Him full control
- We are in for a smoother ride
- This does not mean that we'll escape
- The world with its sorrow and pain
- Because on all, both good and bad
- Falls the sun and falls the rain
- So I will go right on trusting
- That Christ who died for me
- Will shine His light in this dark world
- And the fullness of His glory I will see
- Until the day He calls me home
- And His riches with me He shares
- I'll endeavor to be His beacon of light
- For I know how much for me Jesus cares.
