WRESTLERS OF THE WEEK
This award is given to the wrestler that best deserves recognition based upon his/her performance throughout the week. This is including practice, duals, and tournaments. They are voted on by the takedown club on every following Monday night. Three candidates are nominated by the coaches for each school MMS, MNMS, and MHS. Then the takedown club selects the winners based upon accomplishments as stated by the coaches. They will be published in the "Mustang News" newspaper and on this site on Thursday the following week.

MHS - Michael Fuentes / 7-0 Pinned his way to the championships of the Richardson, Roundup tournament.
WEEK OF DEC 9, 2000
MHS - Louis Edmonds / Undefeated this week with a techfall in the finals of the Putnam City tournament over #3 ranked wrestler in the state.
MMS - Chad Loder / Chad was 5-1 in route to a conference runner-up finish.
MNMS - Michael Riffel / Became Mustang's only Jr High Conference CHAMPION going undefeated to claim top honors.
WEEK OF DEC 16, 2000

MHS - Chris Waller / Went undefeated in route to a Geary Tournament Championships. Defeating Dixon of Broken Arrow ranked#2, Chance Shipman of Choctaw ranked # 3, and pl;aced ahead of returning state runner-up Justin Sizemore of Westmoore.
MMS - Jake Davidson / Went undefeated in route to a Moore Tournament Championship.
MNMS - Greg Brown / Placed second at the Moore Tournament with 3 falls.
WEEK OF JAN 13
MHS - Jeramaine Brown / Placed second earning all conference honors at the metro conference tournament.
MMS - Blake Ramey / Was 2-0 this week recording a fall over a tough opponent from Hefner.
MNMS - Larry Crawford / was 2-0 this week with 2 falls to lead MNSM to victories over PC Central and Hefner.
