Changing a valve cover is pretty much self explanatory, but I just had to mention it and show it being this is the 1st cast aluminum valve cover sold new since the Edelbrock and Offy valve covers of the 1960's and 1970's.

Fordsix Performance Parts (now known as Classic Inlines) has had this under development for the past several years and Mike was finally able to finish and market them in 2006!

He offers them in raw, polished or in several different colors of your choice. I choose the raw cover (with polished fins) and took it to work and painted it.

I cleaned it thoroughly with a red 3M scuff pad with scuffing paste, PPG DP 40'd it, sprayed it with Ford blue engine enamel and clear coated it with semi gloss clear.
