This was one of my 1st projects to try to overcome the short comings of the "log head". It was a modified 1980 EO head that was ported & polished and I had the intake shaved so I could mount 2 Carter YF 1 Bbl carbs on it.
The air cleaner shown was a modified air cleaner from a early 80's Ford Escort. It looked cool and was faster than the stock 1 Bbl carb.
After this I made another adaptor plate so I could mount a 500 cfm Holley 2 bbl on the head which was a lot better runner than this was.
And this was how my quest for speed in the inline 6 world started out..... |
