Release
She stood bravely on the edge of a precipice of darkness
The screeching wind tearing at her clothes
Her head held high into the roaring fray
She beheld her deepest fears
And drawing the raging storm deep inside,
She released them to the fearsome creature
And bade it envelope and cleanse her
Seeing all the terrors within, she let them all go
The trepidations of life
Willing herself to make a stand

Optional end:

Throwing all things frightening into that wind
Turning from the maelstrom and into the arms of her love
They retreated to the warmth of each other
Safe and content, knowing the beast could not harm them
For they were together

She gazed into the glittering sunrise
Heartbreaking beauty
Gleaming in her captured eyes

She lay on a sea of whispering waves
under a vast sky
joy embraced her heart

The water flowed around her
sparkling liquid jewels
undulating in sweet easiness.

She smiled and the the light splintered
a thousand rays, brilliant in their glory
and the sun rose

All became golden,
all became love,
a magic moment held fast in time
