North Aryan Aviation

North Aryan Aviation (NAA), headquarters
Emerald Bay, is the largest aeronautical firm in Hibernia. NAA is known for
simple, balanced, rigid, and light aircraft designs. NAA’s first public offering was the Angel. The Angel was a significant
improvement over the aircraft of the day. It featured an all-metal monoplane
design. The aircraft was equipped with a 643 c.i.d. radial engine and reached a
top speed of 190 knots.

Other first-generation NAA designs
included the Sparrow, the Skylark, and the Havoc. All
aircraft were in the 650 c.i.d. and 200 knot range. NAA engineers began make improvements in airfoil efficiency,
aerodynamics, and human factors. The
Havoc was the last radial engine aircraft produced by NAA. It represented the
premier achievements of NAA engineers of that time. They had developed more advanced monocoque fuselage and wing
construction that no longer required wire braces. The Havoc was also the first
aircraft in Hibernia to have retractable landing gear. The Havoc could
outperform all other Hibernian aircraft at the time and became the standard at
all Hibernian air races.

The Havoc’s reign over Hibernian
aviation was short lived. Less than six months after it’s release Incon
Industries released the Raider.
The Raider was capable of reaching speeds in excess of 300
knots. The conception of the Raider
inspired a second generation of NAA aircraft. In response to the Raider,
NAA developed a new kind of Hibernian design. The first of the
second-generation NAA designs was the Interceptor. With the Interceptor, NAA
engineers introduced an inline 572 c.i.d. engine. The new engine configuration
dramatically improved acceleration and climb performance. They also placed
considerable attention to the streamlined aerodynamics of the new aircraft. The
NAA Interceptor could out perform the Raider by over 100 knots,
reaching a top speed of 417 knots.

Later second-generation aircraft included
the Wolfhound and the Falcon. Both aircraft resembled the
streamlined Interceptor. However, NAA engineers made significant
increases in engine displacement and improved internal systems. They also
experimented with turbochargers and superchargers. The Falcon reached
impressive speeds above 430 knots. Some Wolfhounds and Falcons remain
commissioned in some Hibernian Squadrons.
A latter second- generation design, the Spirit,
NAAs first twin-engine aircraft, introduced a more military oriented aircraft.
Designed as a multi role interceptor/ fighter/ bomber the Spirit was and still
is an extremely practical and versatile aircraft. Unlike earlier designs the Spirit
was built less for racing and more for fighting. The nose mounted .50 caliber
machine guns are exceptionally accurate. The twin-engine design makes the Spirit
the fastest and highest climbing aircraft made in Hibernia. The Spirit
has dual V-10 980 c.i.d. piston engines and a top speed of 390 knots.

The most recent NAA aircraft design, the Mesteño,
represents the pinnacle of Hibernian aircraft technology and is the primary
fighter in the Hibernian Air Corps. Designed as the ultimate fighter, the Mesteño
features a high visibility bubble canopy, a supercharged 1650 c.i.d. V-12
engine, and advanced highly efficient NACA airfoil technology. The Mesteño
is the premier air superiority fighter of Aurora with a top speed of over 480
knots and a 5450 feet per minute rate of climb at gross.

North Aryan Aviation has three production
facilities at Emerald Bay, St. Brienard Province. NAA also operates a state of
the art joint Ministry of Defense/NAA test site at Lancaster in St. Brienard
Province. Currently NAA offers the Mesteño, Wolfhound, Falcon and Spirit for production. International models are performance
limited, however, still internationally competitive.
