Jeff Jarrett vs Sting + Bret Hart Makes Appearance
Rick Steiner vrs Mark Mercedes
Mercedes came out and ripped into the crowd for cheap heat. Steiner came out
and told him to get in the ring before some of us whooped his ass. Back and
forth match couple of big Aussie Sucks Chants with Steiner winning with a
sloppy Bulldog off top rope.
Sting does a promo from high up on a platform near the roof.
2nd Match
Puppett vrs Meatball vrs Teo (Midgets 3 Way)
Very funny match from the midgets with Teo winning with a Swanton Bomb on
Meatball....
3rd Match
Devon Storm (Crowbar) vrs Konnan (Hardcore Falls Count Anywhere Match)
Good match between these two, Strom setup a security railing on the ramp and
thew Konnan through it they fought to the top of the ramp where Konnan
forced Storm's head into a the groin of a Maori stature (actually sacred and
caused heat) then Storm threw Konnan into the set and almost knocked it
down, crowd was chanting one more time so he did and they bought it down...
They went back to the ring where Storm setup the railing on the steps,
Konnan gained control and threw Storm onto it, then back in the ring Konnan
setup a chair in the corner, Storm reversed and sent Konnan into it, he set
the railing up again and put Konnan on it and did a Swanton over the top
rope putting Konnan through it for the pin.
4th Match
Johnny Swinger vrs Frankie Kazarian vrs Chris Sabin vrs Jerry Lynn (WWA
Cruiserweight and NWA-TNA X Div Titles on the line)
Match of the night, loads of high flying moves and many reversals, match
ended with Swinger and Lynn on outside and Sabin hit Kazarian with a
fisherman's powerbomb.
Shane Douglas came out and did a great (typical Douglas) promo, said he
injured his arm in Melbourne against Sabu and would not be able to compete
tonight. Joe E Legend came out and dissed crowd for cheap heat and offered
to take his place. Douglas accepted and went to do commentary..
5th Match
Joe E Legend vrs Sabu
Another good match with lots of high risk high flying moves. Sabu got the
win with Arabian Facebuster off top rope. Douglas and Legend then double
teamed Sabu after the match.
Andrew McMannus then came out and introduced Bret Hart who spoke about his
stroke and losing friends in the business, you could tell he still had
problems from the stroke as he was very slow moving the left side of his
body.
6th Match
Sting (WWA Champion) vrs Jeff Jarrett (NWA-TNA Champion)
Disappointing match between these two. Jarrett went to hit sting with Guitar
and Sting blocked with the baseball bat, this was followed with Jarrett
pulling ref in as Sting went for a stinger splash, Joe E Legend came out
(followed by Steiner) with another Guitar and went to hit Sting as Jarrett
was set for Death Drop. Steiner grabbed Guitar and kicked Legend out of the
ring then Steiner hit Sting and put Jarrett on top for the cover.
