Rey Mysterio Jr vs. Albert
Michael Cole runs his mouth about how now Albert is trying o make a name for him on Smackdown after not being on an episode in quite sometime. Rey dominated the match in the beginning, working on Albert�s knees mostly. He hit some springboards, and eventually the 619. Albert then took control and got the three count via an over the shoulder back breaker. A very good Albert match indeed. Albert then hit a corner splash and took Rey out. Edge came down to the rescue, but Albert left the ring.
Number one Smackdown Announcer Funaki interviewed Bill DeMott. DeMott said he has been in the business eleven years and it�s a disgrace to be interviewed by an interview who can�t speak English
Edge helps Eddie onto an ambulance, and Rey is taken away.
Stephanie comes out and said she �sacrificed� herself for Smackdown. She says Steiner will sign next week. Then she says Lesnar will be here tonight to be talked to, but she teases the crowd and says he will be on satellite.
Crash Holly vs. Jamie Noble
Great cruiserweight action here, Noble stomped on Holly early. Holly took control with some quick counters, namely irish whips. Crash was distracted by Nidia (who was color commentating). Holly went out of the ring and kissed Nidia, Nidia ran away. Crash chases after her until he found himself in the ring with Noble. Noble went on the offensive, but got reversed and lost via the Crash Landing. Noble walked off talking about how Nunzio is coming next week, while Nidia rejects the idea. Noble�s losing streak continues.
Benoit was at a black background set, where he gave a one way interview�basically promo style (but he wasn�t looking at the camera). He talked about how since he was 3 he wanted to be the best, the champion. He says he will win his 4-way match tonight for the number one contendership.
Dawn Marie startles Torrie Wilson from behind. Dawn says Wilson�s father (who is overseas currently), isn�t the only Wilson she has her eye on. Some teased HLA indeed. Dawn says she will cancel her wedding with Torrie�s dad, if Torrie will come up to her hotel room (357) tonight. Michael Cole �An indecent proposal to say the least�
Bill DeMott vs. Funaki
Bill dominated for the very most part, relatively short. Cole and Taz talked about his illustrious career (I have no idea what they are talking about), and how he is fresh of his Tough Enough run. DeMott wins via the No Laughing Matter, but I suppose he doesn�t call it that anymore
Eddie and Chavo are backstage and talk about how good it would be when Chavo wins the cruiserweight title tonight, and Eddie wins the number one contendership. Then Los Gurerros will hold 3 different titles, and their family (they name like 10 names) will be very proud of them.
Cole and Taz interview Brock via satellite. Brock says he was raped of the title. Big Show and Paul Heyman interrupt the commercial from the arena. Paul says neither Brock or Step screwed Brock Lesnar, that in fact Heyman and Big Show did. Heyman said he hopes Lesnar enjoys the number one contenders match, and will be glad someone else will be getting the shot (sarcastically of course). Brock replies by saying he will enjoy the championship match�in person
Raw Moment- Shane announces he owns WCW (ah the semi good ole times)
Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Gurerro (Cruiserweight Title Match)
A bunk load of reversals to start the match, real fast paced. Cole says �Kidman has been a fighting champion� of late. Chavo took control, but Kidman managed to dodge a Gory Bomb. Chavo then hit the Gory bomb, but Billy got a foot on the ropes. Kidman missed a shooting star press, and after a minute or so he hits it and gets the win. Kidman had one of his better matches of late.
Lloyd interviews Edge. They talk about how being the number one contender could �change his life� (even though he got a shot last week. Edge tells Lloyd to looks in his eyes, and that tonight he will show is aggression. Albert interrupts the interview and he brawls with Edge. It is broken up very quickly, Shannon Moore gets some TV time(holds edge back).
Smackdown Hip Hop Challenge
John Cena (w/ B squared) vs. Rikishi
Taz hosted this thingy. Cena was booed, and then Rikishi got cheap shotted by Bull and Cena, during Rikishi�s turn. Taz interfered and strapped the Tazmission on Cena. Taz and Rikishi did the tradition Rikishi dance.
Loyd goes to interview Angle backstage. Angle�s �thoughts are one winning the title for the third time�, proving his superiority over Benoit again, showing Eddie how he won the medals, and how he is the greatest superstar on Smackdown, and how is the next WWE Champion. �It�s true, It�s damn true, I�m gonna show you right now�. Not the typical funny Angle, the Intensity of his three I�s was definitely in affect,
Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match for #1 Contendership
Edge vs. Eddie Gurerro vs. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
Edge comes out, Albert does a pre-match run-in and beats Edge down with a chair. ^commercial break^. Eddie, Benoit, and Angle came out respectively. Edge comes out again, the match is now back to a four-way (but Edge came out limping). Angle was smiling, obviously because he wants to strap on the ankle lock. ^another commercial^. Benoit and Angle went to work on Edge (his leg namely) immediately. Eddie tried a school boy on Angle, while Angle was stomping on Benoit. Benoit cleared Angle and Eddie out of the ring. Benoit went to work on Edge with knee stomps and clotheslines by himself. Edge regained control on an Irish whip reversal. Eddie came back in, and suplexed Benoit out of the ring. Angle came back in and started brawling with Eddie. Eddie gained control, and start an arsenal of strikes on Angle. Eddie suplexed Angle and got a two count. Angle hit a belly to back, and then tried an Angle Slam, but Eddie reversed into an arm drag. Benoit comes from behind and Germans Eddie, Benoit hits the missile head butt and gets two count. Edge tosses Angle out of the ring. Benoit triple Germans Eddie but Edge comes in breaks it up with a spear. Benoit crossfaces Eddie and Eddie taps. EDDIE IS ELIMINATED. Angle comes back in and triple Germans Benoit. Edge misses a missile dropkick of the top rope. Benoit took down Edge via grabbing his leg. Angle gets up and waits for someone else too. Benoit gets the crossface on Edge, Angle interrupts and gets the ankle lock on Benoit. Eddie comes back in and spears Benoit for the three count. CHRIS BENOIT is ELIMINATED. Edge and Angle left. Angle gets the ankle lock, Edge reverse eventually and tosses Angle out of the ring. Angle throws Edge into the stairs. ^Commercial Break (third for one match)^. Smackdown comes back with Angle pummeling Edge. Edge is busted open from the step shot earlier. Angle stomps Edge against the ropes, and stretched Edge across them. Edge recovers and slaps Angle a few times and takes control with some strikes. Angle belly to belly�s Edge, and then gets him in a headlock variation. The referee raises the arm three times, and Edge lifts it up on the third. Edge gets to his feet, and belly to belly�s Angle now. Both men are down, and the referee counts them out�both men get up at 8. Edge strikes Angle a few times and hits a series of clotheslines on Angle. Edge rolled up Angle on another third German, and got a two count. Edge spears angle, and gets another two count. Edge tries and Implant DDT, reversed into an angle slam, reversed into the DDT again�Two count. Edge goes to the top rope, angle tires the running superplex maneuver, Edge knocks him off, and hits the missile dropkick�another two count. Angle hits the Angle slam, two count on Edge this time. Angle lets his second strap down, and gets the ankle lock on�again. Edge counters it into another roll up�two count. Angle gets Edge in the ankle lock again, Edge reverses it into a kick this time. Angle gets the ankle lock on�again. Edge gets to the ropes. Angle wont release and Edge hits an enziguri. Edge hits the angle slam on Angle�two count. (Near falls GALORE). Edge climbs the ropes again, Angle hits a running Angle slam off the top rope�THREE COUNT. ANGLE WINS Show runs in, chokeslams Angle. Show taunts Angle with the belt, Heyman is now with him. Angle vs Benoit will take place at Armageddon for the World Title.
Torrie is seen at Marie�s hotel door and she knocks. Dawn Answers and Marie is on the bed with a glass of wine. Marie says she has been expecting Torrie. Dawn gave Torrie a kiss and walked off, she then said �Guess she didn�t love her father after all�
