-Tajiri defeated Funaki. both received nice pop from the crowd.
-Albert Defeated a local jobber (I think Bobby Cruise) Albert did a funny promo before the match knocking the Toronto crowd. Then he said that everyone would love to run their hands thru his fur.
-Crash defeated Shannon Moore, Nothing interesting to note here.
Smackdown Tapings
-Before the intro and pyro, Ron Simmons and D-von cut a promo to bash the Toronto crowd to get them worked up for the opening of the show.
-Opening Pyro
-Edge and Rey defeated Simmons and D-Von cleanly. All big moves and spots were hit. Very fast paced matchup. Edge got the pin via the Edge-a-Cution. *Guerrero's attack Edge and Rey after the match*
-Jamie Noble Defeated Nidia. Tajiri was the guest referee. After the match Noble beat down Tajiri, then Nidia and Noble made up.
-John Cena Defeated Kidman, Apperently, John Cena is a heel.... horrible turn as the crowd didn't even seem to care. Cena sucks chants were heard during the match.
-Brock Lesnar defeated Chuck. Great match. Lots of big moves during the match. Fans cheered both wrestlers. Taker came down after the match to beat up Brock. Taker hit brock with his cast to bust him open.
-Backstage Torrie meets up with her dad who gave her some flowers. She gave them to Jan the makeup artist and went to the ring.
- Rikishi & Torrie defeated Matt Hardy and Dawn Marie. Match ended as Matt used Dawn Marie's face to shield the stink face. After the match, Matt was in the corner knocked out and Rikishi was going to give him the stink face but Torrie wanted to do it. Matt closed his eyes and was asking her to bring it on.. Rikishi stepped in and gave the stink face.
-Torrie came back to the make up area and Jan said the card wasn't for her it was for Dawn Marie. Torrie asks everyone where her dad is and she is lead to the women's locker room where she steps in and see's her dad in the shower with Dawn Marie.
- Benoit and Angle Defeated The Guerrero's. Edge and Rey attacked Eddie and Chavo on their way to the ring. All 3 teams fought for a bit. Match ended as Benoit faked like he was going to hit Angle with the chair. He then took out Chavo and Eddie. Angle hit the Angle slam to get the win.
-Stephanie came to the ring as she needed to address if Taker could wear his cast for the Hell In A Cell on Sunday. Steph said it was fine for him to do so... Brock taunts Steph for a bit and Taker comes down takes out Brock and he then busts open Heyman with the cast. Taker choke slams Heyman to end the show.
Overall not a bad show.. Commercial breaks were a bit too long. There seemed to be about 2 or 3 that went on for a good 5 minutes which the crowd let the WWE know thier dis-satisfaction with.
