Kurt Angle's music hits and he is headed to the ring to talk about last week's events. He gets on the mic and says that he promised one day he'd be a gold medallist, and he was. He said he won his first WWE Title in his first year in the WWE and last week he said he would produce a Smackdown! moment. He says just like everything else he has said in his life, he delivered. (Highlight cut of last week's action where the Show was shot with a tranquilizer dart and then shaved bald.)
We cut back from the highlight and Angle says Show brought this on himself. He says at 7 foot 500 pounds, he could throw just almost anyone off a balcony, but you do NOT do that to Kurt Angle. He says as soon as his body hit the ground and his leg snapped he swore retribution. He says he did here what everyone has dreamed of doing. He says he took the big bad bully and humiliated him like he has never been before. (Angle shows a photo that he says he will put on all his Xmas cards, it's him smiling holding Big Show's head up)
Angle says the people who were picked on could show their appreciation. The crowd boos. He says he did not expect the heartland of America to know greatness, but two men do. Two men he is grooming to become great, two men who will be at his corner at No Mercy, Mark Jindrak and Luther Reigns!
The two come to the ring with some of Big Show's hair in a bag. They then lift Angle on their shoulders as the crowd boos heavily. This leads to Teddy Long coming to the top of the ramp! Teddy says Angle likes to talk a lot of trash even though the Big Show is not here. Teddy Long says that Angle and The Big Show have a big time thing going on but there is only one way to settle it and that is in the ring, one on one. He says Jindrak and Reigns are barred from ringside and anyone who gets involved in the match will be FIRED!
Dawn Marie comes to sit ringside where she tells Cole and Tazz that she has a scoop! Her scoop so that Jackie and Charlie Haas are engaged to be married! Haas and Rico come to the ring and Dawn Marie hints that Charlie is into her and the two played games last night.
Charlie Haas and Rico vs. The Dudley Boys
Bubba Ray and Charlie lock up, Bubba comes off the ropes with a shoulder knock down, Hass counters with an arm drag and a dropkick to Bubba. D-Von hits the ring and he takes a dropkick as well. Another arm drag to Bubba as Haas rolls him to his side of the ring where he tags Rico. Rico chain wrestles with Bubba and then end up in a sexual position and the crowd pops! D-Von is tagged in and he does a reach around on Rico but Rico rubs his butt against D-Von and D-Von throws him towards Bubba but Rico's head is in his crotch! Bubba throws him off. Rico works on D-Von but he comes off the ropes and his hair is grabbed by Bubba and he is taken down.
Bubba and D-Von work on Rico. Bubba knocks Charlie to the outside where Dawn Marie tries to help him up but Jackie helps instead. Dawn Marie talks about loving Charlie this whole match. Rico is finally able to make a tag and Charlie comes in with a head full of steam and he takes care of business taking both Dudley Boyz down with overhead suplexes, arm drags, and back body drops! He takes down Bubba Ray Dudley and he comes off the top rope onto D-Von with a wicked diving sprawl.
Dawn Marie continues to talk about her supposed relationship with Charlie Haas. She says that Jackie is in her way and she has been doing so the entire match. Dawn throws a shoe at Jackie and Jackie goes crazy and she tackles Dawn and the two brawl like crazy. Rico goes to help Jackie get off Dawn, but back in the ring Charlie Haas is set up for the 3D. The Dudley�s execute the move and win the match.
Winners - The Dudley Boyz
After the match the two girls cat fight all over the outside of the ring. Finally a referee and Rico are able to separate them. Dawn SCREAMS at Jackie that this is not over!
Cena interview
Cena is in the back with Josh Matthews who is all hyped up about talking to Cena. He says he wants to hear the rap for No Mercy. Cena plays along with him and then tells him there will be no rap and shoves him out of the way. Cena goes on to talk about how Booker T is a five time five time... etc. Cena says he is a one time, one thing, and that one thing is the United states title and he will win it this weekend and there is nothing Booker T can do about it.
Before we go to commercial, Heidenreich is standing ON TOP OF THE SMACKDOWN FIST. Heyman is begging him to come down. What is he doing up there?
When we come back, Heidenreich is still a top the fist. He tells the people to shut the hell up and listen to him. He constantly yells at them, yells for respect! The crowd boos heavily. Heidenreich reads a poem and stops every so often to tell the people to shut the hell up. Good segment. He ends the poem by saying he will destroy the world and such!
Taker by a Hearse:
We cut to a shot of the Undertaker standing by a hearse. He opens the back of the hearse and tells Bradshaw that at No Mercy, this will be his last ride. He says the last image he will see will be the Taker feasting on his rotting soul holding the WWE championship! REST IN PEACE.
JBL is in the back with Josh Matthews after seeing this promo. He looks nervous and looks around asking where Orlando Jordan is. Josh asks JBL if he scared. JBL says he is not. The Taker has beaten some of the best, The Rock, Austin, Bret Hart, Savage... but he has NEVER beaten JBL! JBL says he has a plan and that plan starts tonight. He says he is going to send a message to The Taker tonight when he takes down Hardcore Holly! Holly shows up and clubs JBL and tells JBL that his plan has just started!
Non Title Match
Booker T vs. Paul London
The two lock up and Booker T takes advantage early with kicks to the gut of London. He picks London up and slaps the crap out of his chest. London is cornered and Booker unloads with right hands to the broken nose of London. London ducks a clothesline and hits the dropsault on Booker T. Booker T works London in the corner where he works on the nose some while Kidman shows up at the top of the ramp.
Paul London works out of the corner with a hard chin kick to Booker T. He looks at Billy Kidman while he climbs the top rope. London goes for a 450 but lands right on his face! Booker T comes out of the corner with the axe kick and cover for the victory!
Winner - Booker T
The Aftermath: Booker rolls out of the ring after the match and he grabs a chair. He goes to hit Paul London with it but Kidman makes the save., Kidman scares off Booker T but then cracks London with the chair himself!
Hardcore Holly vs. John Bradshaw Layfield (c)
JBL and Bob Holly start off in a brawl to no surprise. JBL takes control for the most part until Holly comes off the ropes with two huge knockdowns. He places the champion in the corner where he chops the hell out of him. JBL gets a thumb to Holly's eye followed by a neck breaker for two.
JBL picks up Holly and chops him and then clubs him with a right hand. JBL comes off the ropes and Holly counters with a back body drop and a clothesline to the outside!
Holly chases JBL outside of the ring banging his face off the steel steps. He goes to whip JBL into them but JBL reverses and tosses Holly into the steel steps. JBL breaks the count and comes back outside kicking Holly with a straight boot to the head. JBL tosses Holly around outside the ring for a bit. JBL goes back in the ring and climbs the top rope but Holly jumps after him and tosses him off the top rope! Holly gives Bradshaw a snap suplex followed by a two count.
Bradshaw reverses an Irish whip to follow up with a big boot to Holly's face. JBL is slow to cover and when he does he only gets a two count. JBL brings Holly to the corner where he places him on the top rope and proceeds to slap the crap out of his chest. JBL climbs up for a suplex but Holly tosses him off and hits a flying clothesline! Holly covers but only for two! Holly stays on it with a dropkick followed by another pin for two. Holly comes off the ropes, JBL reverses, and Holly ducks a clothesline, but is caught in the fall away slam. JBL starts smiling as he thinks it is all over. JBL places Holly in a powerbomb position and it seems as if he is going for the last ride but Holly picks him up and nails the Alabama Slammer! JBL rolls out of the ring and both men are down as we go to a commercial break.
When we come back Holly is laying in the middle of the ring busted wide open. During the break JBL picked up the steel steps and donked them off the head of Hardcore Holly.
The referee is trying to keep JBL off of Hardcore Holly but JBL punches him in the face several times with a closed fist. This causes Nick Patrick to call for the bell.
Winner by disqualification: Hardcore Holly
The Aftermath: JBL takes Holly outside and works on his head off the steps multiple times. He then picks the steps up again and he crashes them down on his forehead AGAIN. JBL then tosses him around throwing him on top of the announce table and punching his head several times. Holly is dying out there. JBL picks up a steel chair and cracks it off the head of Holly. He then rolls him in the ring and puts Holly's arms across his chest just as the Taker does! He goes to speak but the Taker shows up on the screen. He says that it started with 4, Gangrel, Viscera, and now Orlando Jordan. Lightning hits the arena and a dim blue light shines somewhere a top the arena where Orlando Jordan has been sacrificed by the Undertaker! JBL freaks out as the Taker says it is only down to one now!
Non Title Match
Nunzio vs. Spike Dudley (c)
The two chain wrestle to start, a lot of mat reversals by the two. Bubba screams that Nunzio "ain't good enough to face the boss" Nunzio kicks at Bubba and misses, Spike tries to control but can't. Nunzio puts Spike in a headlock, Spike tries to leave the ring while in a headlock but Nunzio drops him on his head. Spike counters with a kick to the gut and a slam. Nunzio however outdoes him with some awesome mat moves and a monkey flip. Nunzio slams Spike and grabs a single leg and rolls through twice so Spike is slammed on his back!
Spike gains control with an atomic drop followed by a clothesline into a headlock. Nunzio climbs out but Spike hits his headbutt and goes back to the headlock. Nunzio fights back up and comes off the ropes with a roll-up for two. Spike however counters after kicking out and goes back to a headlock. He then drops a knee on Nunzio and puts him in the corner where he mounts and punches Nunzio followed by stomping on his chest. Spike Dudley goes back to the head lock as Stamboli and Bubba have words outside of the ring. Nunzio fights back yet again from the headlock as the crowd chants him on. He throws elbows to the midsection. Spike tosses Nunzio to the ropes but Nunzio reverses, throws Spike and gives him a back suplex followed by a back body drop for two.
Spike makes a run at Nunzio who is in the corner, he misses. Nunzio climbs the second rope and comes off with the Sicilian slice leg drop, but D-Von gets on the apron to prevent the pin. The Dudley's and Stamboli start a fight. Back in the ring Nunzio runs off the ropes but his feet are grabbed by D-Von. Spike goes to cover Nunzio but Nunzio counters with a crucifix pin roll up to pin Spike and get the win!
Winner - Nunzio, but still Cruiserweight Champion, Spike Dudley
Big Show Speaks:
Earlier this week, the Big Show spoke in a dim light where we cannot see his face. He goes on to say a bunch of stuff about how he was humiliated by Angle, something nobody has ever done to him. But this weekend, he will show Kurt Angle.. NO.. MERCY.
Mark Jindrak and Luther Reigns vs. Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam
Eddie and RVD rush the ring to take care of business. RVD knocks Jindrak to the outside and then dives on top of him over the top rope. Back in the ring Guerrero gets some shots on Luther. He goes for the three amigos but Luther stops him after one and gives him a flapjack suplex! RVD is tagged in and he starts to work it over on Luther Reigns a bit with shots and kicks. RVD knocks Luther down hard and he climbs the top rope for the frog splash. He hits it! The referee goes to count but Mark Jindrak climbs in the ring to stop the count! Jindrak and Reigns walk up the ramp to realign as RVD and Eddie Guerrero stand in the ring calling them back as we go to commercial break!
Jindrak is in control of Rob Van Dam when we cone back until RVD his a clothesline and is able to tag Eddie. Eddie comes in on fire and gets a near pinfall until Jindrak gives him a back body drop. Eddie and Jindrak go back and forth until Eddie reverses an Irish whip into a rib hold. Eddie lured Luther into the ring; the ref goes over to him so Eddie brings Jindrak into the corner where he and RVD work away. Jindrak starts to get some offence when he nails Eddie with a right hand followed by a suplex into a headlock. Eddie fights out and nails Jindrak with a back suplex. He then tags RVD who does a spinning leg drop into a cover for tow. Jindrak gets a shot on his gut, goes to pick him up, but RVD slides out and hits a kick to Jindrak�s chin. RVD calls for the rolling thunder but Luther pulls the ropes down and throws RVD off the announce table. The two men work on RVD. Luther takes control with a double under hook suplex followed by a bear hug. RVD goes for a kick but Luther catches him and drops him on his back with a spinebuster. Jindrak is tagged in and the two takes turns beating on Rob Van Dam for quite some time. Several two counts involved, but mostly wear down holds by the pair of Angle's boys.
RVD finally fights back with a stiff kick to Luther's head, he comes off the top rope but misses the kick to Luther's chine, Luther falls anyways, Eddie is tagged. Eddie goes nuts on Jindrak with right hands! Eddie comes off the ropes to hit a tilt a whirl headscissors. Now both men are trying to get him but Eddie does an arm drag and head scissor to both men! Luther rolls out and Eddie goes for the three amigos on Jindrak and he gets it! Eddie climbs to the top rope for the Frog Splash but all hell breaks loose between the men. Luther sneaks in the ring and hits his finisher on Eddie Guerrero when the ref is not looking.
RVD comes in the ring to help out but Luther brawls him around the ring. Jindrak is able to roll over to Eddie and he covers him for the 3 count!
Winners - Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak
