Vince McMahon tells us that tonight will be a very special night for Smackdown as it is the fifth anniversary show.
Billy Kidman vs. Paul London
Billy Kidman and Paul London circle around a bit but never lock up. Billy Kidman then climbs between the ropes and leaves the ring shaking his head. Brian Hebner starts his ten count and by the time he gets to about 6, Kidman has already left the ramp. Hebner gets to 10 and gives London the count out victory.
Winner: Paul London
The music of Booker T hits the arena and he comes to the ring to fight. London says he wants to go and the bell rings!
Booker T vs. Paul London
Booker T kicks London in the gut hard and then unloads on him with rights and lefts. Paul takes a hard shot and his nose is busted pretty badly on a forearm/elbow by Booker T makes a run at London who gets a boot up. London goes to the top and hits a knee to the face of Booker T. Booker T regains control with a flapjack on the ropes and he then places London in a arm and back hold. London gets to his feet and hits a flipping mule kick to knock Booker T down.
Paaul London buils momentum and hits a drop salt on Booker T followed by an enzeguiri kick to the head of Booker T.
Paul London comes flying off the ropes with a high cross body block but Booker T rolls through and uses his feet on the ropes to get an advantage. Hebner counts to three and Booker T gets the victory!
Winner: Booker T
The Aftermath: Booker T gets on the mic and starts to talk trash to Cena saying he just took Paul London to school. He goes to do his whole "dig that" thing but London comes out of the ring and clobbers him in the back of the neck! Booker gets up extremely upset as the assistants keep the two apart!
Mick Foley talks on his favorite Smackdown moments:
It's taped. I really thought he was going to be there, oh well. Mick Foley says his favorite two smackdown moments were when he picked The Rock's glasses up when he dropped them by accident. His second favorite moment was the return of Cactus Jack vs. HHH!
Kidman is walking out of the arena when he is confronted by Teddy Long. Teddy Long tells him he is dissapointed because the fans wanted to see that much and they want to see him hit the shooting star press. He says one thing he does not like is a quitter. He says Kidman WILL fight Paul London on pay per view and if he no shows, he will be FIRED.
Josh is shown with Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley. Spike says he is the champ, the boss, etc. Mysterio says he is looking him right in the eye and he will stop at nothing to capture that Cruiserweight Title. "You think you're the boss? I think you're loco!" Rey Mysterio then goes on to say a bunch of stuff in Spanish which bring about Kenzo Suzuki who tells Rey he is in America and he needs to speak English! He asks Rey if he understands and Rey says he does and then cracks Kenzo with the mic!
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match
Spike Dudley (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
The two men stare down until Spike shoves Rey by the face. The two throw down, Rey comes off the ropes and goes for a moonsault but Spike ducks. Spike comes off the ropes but Rey Mysterio catches him in a reverse airplane spin into a facebuster on his knee! Rey follows up with a drop toe hold on the turnbuckle and Spike is down. Bubba and D-Von hit the ring but Mysterio avoids them. Charles Robinson catches the Dudley Boys and throws them out!
Spike is outside with his brothers and Rey gives him a baseball slide kick. Rey goes to plancha on him but he is stopped by the referee! The referee sticks his head through the ropes and Rey Mysterio planachas over him and crashes onto Spike on the outside!
Back in the ring Mysterio goes for a cover for two. The two then come off the ropes and collide as we go to a commercial break!
When we come back Spike is in control whipping Mysterio from post to post before throwing him through the buckles into the steel post. Both men are outside where Spike continues to work on the shoulder of Rey Mysterio. Spike throws him back in the ring for a two count. Spike then bodyslams Rey and climbs the top rope for the step move, Mysterio plays possum and he knocks Spike gonads first on the buckle. Mysterio climbs the topes and gives Spike a hurricanranna for two! Spike counters off the ropes with a headbutt. Spike then goes for a sunset flip but Mysterio rolls through and dropkicks Spike in the head for another two count. Mysterio then places Spike in a Mahistrol cradle for two. Mysterio then comes off the ropes with a flying cross body but Spike ducks and Rey Mysterio crashes into the referee!
Mysterio goes for a head scissor off the ropes but Spike drops him flat on his stomach. Spike then climbs the ropes for his step move but Mysterio gets the boots up! Spike falls right in place for the 619 but as he runs off the ropes, Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree pull the ropes down. Dupree throws Mysterio into Kenzo who hits his face plant on Mysterio. The two roll him back into the ring where Spike covers Mysterio and gets the victory!
Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion: Spike Dudley
The aftermath: Kenzo and Renee stomp on Mysterio until RVD comes and clears house with kicks all around!
Stephanie's favorite moments: Stephanie McMahon looks ugly now! Anyways, her favorite moments were slapping her mother in the face and her love triangle with HHH and Kurt Angle when she was kissed by Angle backstage!
Teddy makes the match: Teddy Long runs into Kenzo and Rene. He tells them that their titles will be on the line at No Mercy against Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam!
We see highlights of what happened to Michael Cole last week. We get a shot of John H. coming to what seems like the ring, and Cole freaks out. However, we see Heidenreich go into the office of Vince McMahon.
Handicap Match
The Undertaker vs. The Ministry (Gangrel & Viscera)
The Taker starts it off early ad he clotheslines Gangrel and unleashes on Viscera. Viscera is stuck in the corner and Gangrel comes off the rops but he runs into viscera! Taker then beats on Gangrel before giving him the old school!
Viscera gets a shot on the back of the Taker and he and Gangrel start to take control. Viscera gives the Taker a splash followed by a chokeslam sit down powerbomb. Gangrel comes off the ropes with a driving elbow on the taker. This is followed up by a splash from Viscera! Viscera goes for a second but Taker sits up and takes control!
The taker goes crazy on both men with clotheslines and splashes galore. He takes Viscera down with a big boot and he then gives Gangrel the tombstone for the victory!
Winner: The Undertaker
The Aftermath: Viscera attacks the Taker from behind while Taker is looking at JBL. The Taker however ducks a blow and slaps on the chokeslam taking the 400 plus pound man down hard! Taker then goes outside and gets a chair. He places the chair on Viscera's neck and he looks right at JBL as he slams the chair into the steps!
Taker gets in the ring and points to JBL with 3 fingers. He removes two, since he just took two down and he leaves one. He takes this one across his throat!
John Heidenreich reads a poem to Vince McMahon because he says the two are very much alike because the people do not understand them. Weird poem. Vince tells him it was very good and thanks him, John says you're welcome. Odd segment again.
School Girl Match
Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson vs. Moolah and Mae Young
Teddy Long comes to the ring at the start of the match and he says that he needs to change the original match. He says that Dawn and Torrie will be teaming up tonight in a schoolgirl match against some OLD SCHOOL. Mae Young and Moolah come out!
Teddy Long asks them for some Crisco and he gives them both a kiss. He then asks for the music to start again and he dances with them! Hilarious!
Moolah and Dawn Marie lock up and go into the corner where they both pinch the referees ass! Dawn Marie and Moolah lock up again and Mae dances with her around the ring. Dawn gets frustrated and tags in Torrie. Torrie comes off the ropes and goes for a Sunset flip but Moolah sits on her face! The ref holds his nose as they think Moolah farted! She then gives Torrie a Bronco buster! Mae Young then clocks Dawn Marie a few times and one of the old hags goes on all 4's behind Dawn Marie. The other one pushes her and they wheel barrell her and pin her for the win!
Winners: Mae Young and Moolah
Stone Cold's favorite moments: Austin says his favorite Smackdown moments were when they went to Iraq and he gave Vinnie Mac the stunner! His other favorite moment was playing acoustic guitar to Vince McMahon in the back!
Cena raps: John Cena is on top of a truck and he goes old school by using special lines from Vince McMahon, The Rock, and Austin. He then ends with his own. The whole rap was pretty enteraining as it was all targeted at Booker T.
In the middle of the promotion for No Mercy, Angle yells in the background asking people to listen to him! He says that he has been Smackdown's number one star from the beginning, but he was not asked about his Iron Man match, the time he kissed Stephanie, none of it. He says that is a disgrace. But there is an even bigger disgrace and that is the 500 pound Big Show. He says when Show signed the contract he made a mistake because Kurt Angle is the biggest star Smackdown has ever seen! He says since he was not asked to share his Smackdown moments he will have to create one tonight, one that nobody will EVER forget.
Hogan's Favorite Moments: Hogan says his favorite moment was when he teamed up with Edge on July 4th. He says being an American now is more important than ever! He says the torch was passed to Edge that night when they won the tag team titles!
Tag Team Match
Big Show and Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns
Angle and Eddie start the match with some chain wrestling until Guerrero tags Big Show. Angle tags Luther and climbs out of the ring! The two lock up and Big Show tosses Luther. Angle hits big Show from behind and Luther attacks. Luther comes off the ropes with two clotheslines, he misses a third and Big Show gives him a major hip toss followed by a headbutt and tag to Eddie Guerrero. Eddie is in control with chops in the corner. Luther battles back with right hands, but Eddie fires back and shakes it up before nailing a big right hand. Luther goes off the ropes and picks Eddie up but Eddie slides out and hits the three amigos but Angle kicks him in the gut after the third.
Angle is tagged in and he and Eddie chain wrestle to perfection on the mat. Eddie throws Angle to the ropes but Big Show is sitting there waiting for him! Angle stops and Eddie rolls him up for two. Angle goes at Show but Show picks him up and bodyslams him back in the ring! Angle gets a shot in on Eddie followed by a snap suplex. He and Luther start to wear Eddie down with good teamwork.
Angle hits a belly to belly on Eddie and then goes for the Angle Slam but Eddie rolls out with an arm drag followed by a drop kick. Eddie tags Big Show who takes down both opponents and gives Luther a chokeslam! Eddie tells Show he wants to be tagged in and he points to the top rope. Show tags Eddie in and goes to let him climb on his shoulders to do the frog splash but Angle catches up with them and tosses Eddie to the outside! All hell breaks loose as WWE cut to a commercial break!
When we come back Angle is going to work on the ankle of Eddie Guerrero placing him in a half boston crab. Eddie rolls through but he cannot get a tag as he is visibly hurting. Angle brings him back to the middle of the ring where he goes to work again on the leg of Eddie. Eddie tags Luther as they isolate Eddie Guerrero.
They continue to switch and work on Eddie. Angle gets him in the ankle lock for a few seconds but Eddie rolls through. The two chain wrestle a bit until Eddie rolls through and gets Angle in a leg hold but Angle is able to tag Luther who breaks the hold. Luther goes to toss Eddie up in the air off the ropes but Eddie hits a dropkick. Tag by both men!
Big Show then takes care of business with a cause! Angle is stuck against the corner with Luther in front on him and Big Show splashes both men!
Angle gets taken down by a sidewalk slam from The Big Show. Eddie Guerrero is tagged in and he climbs to the top of Big Show's shoulders and hits the frog splash on Kurt Angle! He goes for the pin but when he gets to two MARC JINDRAK shows up and we have no idea why. He hits Eddie Guerrero off of Kurt and attacks the Big Show, the match is called.
Winners by DQ: Big Show and Eddie Guerrero
The Aftermath: Eddie ends up on the outside of the ring where Luther Reigns gives him his finishing on the hard mat. Back in the ring Big Show is battling with Jindrak until Luther helps him out. Angle is outside the ring on the announce table and he opens a box containing a DART GUN. Kurt loads the gun and goes into the ring where Big Show is manhandling both Luther and Jindrak. Angle SHOOTS Big Show is the spine with the dart! Big Show screams in pain and then moves around in a drunked manner. He gets one burst of strength and tries to choke slam Angle but he has been tranqualized and he falls to his knees and then down on his face. Big Show is OUT COLD. Jindrak runs to the back and comes back with scissors and a clipper. Angle and the boys proceed to cut the hair of the Big Show and then they shave it until he is BALD. Angle tells Show that this will be something to remember him by. Angle gets his revenge for the Big Show throwing him off a balcony! Angle grabs the face of the Big Show and makes sure the camera sees it. The Show is out cold and BALD as we go off the air!
