WWE Smackdown! opened up with a video package from last week highlighting the Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle saga which resulted in Eddie's low rider being ruined by Angle, by pouring paint all over it! The fireworks then went off in the arena for the start of WWE Smackdown! as Michael Cole and Tazz welcomed us to the show and tonight, John Cena will take on Booker T in the second match of the best of five series for the United States Championship!
The music of Eddie Guerrero hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring and last week on Smackdown, Kurt Angle defaced his low rider with household latex paint! Eddie made his way to the ring on foot and then grabbed the microphone. The crowd chanted "Eddie, Eddie" and has asked "What's Up Fresno?". Eddie said he is going to make this real simple. "Kurt Angle, last week, you got a can of paint and you ruined my low rider, essa. You defaced my personal property, just like I am going to defcae you tonight. Make no mistake about it, I don't want to wrestle you, I wanna fight! So lets stop wasting time, and get your ass out here right now!" The music of Kurt Angle hit in the arena as Luther Reigns made his way to the aisle. "Well, well, well, Eddie Guerrero, Mr. Vato Loco wants a fight. Well be careful what you wish for Eddie, because I've seen a lot of fights in my lifetime, and if there is one thing i know about, it's fights. If Kurt Angle stepped in the ring with you right now, he wouldn't just beat you, he would annihilate you." Kurt Angle then appeared on the TitanTron and he is in the parking lot, and invited Eddie out to the back. Eddie left the ring and Kurt was shown taking his jacket off. Eddie approached Kurt, and Angle ran. Eddie chased him and then Kurt told him to get his hands off his car. Eddie then poured garbage all over the car, as Kurt screamed at him to stop. Eddie got a steel bar and smashed the windows of the car and then Luther took him out from behind and then he and Angle got into a car and fled the scene. Eddie continued to smash the car up and then Theodore Long came running out telling him to stop. Theodore asked him what is he doing? Eddie said he was smashing Kurt's car. Theodore said that car does not belong to Kurt Angle, it belongs to him! Eddie didn't believe Theodore and went to smash it again, and Theodore has to tell him again that it is his car! Theodore then called security to get Eddie out of his sight as Eddie screamed that he was set up and Theodore cried over his destroyed car. Commercial.
Rob Van Dam vs. Kenzo Suzuki
The music of Rob Van Dam hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring and he has a score to settle with Kenzo Suzuki tonight, as last week, Kenzo attacked RVD after his match with Rene Dupree, and laid him out with the STO. Kenzo and Hiroko were shown backstage, taped early tonight. Kenzo babbled on in English about loving America. Kenzo then made his way out, carried out the ring on a sedan.
RVD thrust kicked Kenzo off the sedan and then gave him a moonsault from the apron. RVD then took out the henchmen of Suzuki and back inside, Kenzo was able to get the advantage with a shoulder knock down and then went to work on him in the corner with kicks and chops. Kenzo kicked RVD down to the mat and then delivered some more chops and then knocked him down with a big elbow to the jaw.
Kenzo Suzuki locked in an abdominal stretch on Rob Van Dam. RVD battled out and then kicked Suzuki straight in the head. RVD continued on offence with right hands and then hit a springboard thrust kick to the sternum. RVD went to the top and came off with a flying thrust kick for two. RVD hit some shoulder thrusts in the corner and then slammed Suzuki and hit the split legged moonsault for two.
RVD scored with a step over heel kick to Kenzo and then went to the top rope and then Rene Dupree came down the aisle and RVD launched himself on him. Kenzo then went for the Claw STO but RVD rolled him up for the win!

The Aftermath: After the match, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki stomped RVD on the mat and Dupree sent the referee to the outside. Dupree held RVD while Suzuki chopped away on him and then the two men hit a double brain buster on RVD to lay him out. The fans heavily booed Dupree and Suzuki and then the two men bowed to each other.
Backstage: Outside, Theodore was still crying over his car, as some people were cleaning up the mess. A limo then pulled up and John Bradshaw Layfield and Orlando Jordan stepped out. JBL said that Theodore didn't answer his calls or emails. JBL said he demands to know what Theodore is going to do about the Undertaker. Theodore said that if he wants to finish the business with the Undertaker, then he will do it with a title defence. JBL said he is injured, and he still has the neck brace on from last week. Theodore said that what is fair, is JBL defending the WWE Championship tonight, and if JBL can't wrestle then Orlando Jordan will take his place! Theodore said if Orlando loses then JBL will lose the title, and his opponent tonight will be the Undertaker!
In the arena: Back on Smackdown! and Michael Cole and Tazz talked about what we just saw, and Orlando Jordan will defend the WWE Championship for John Bradshaw Layfield against the Undertaker!
Chavo Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman
The music of Chavo Guerrero hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Jamie Noble and he will be going against one half of the Tag Team Champions, Billy Kidman, who was accompanied by Paul London and last week, Noble and Guerrero pulled off an upset over the tag champs!
Kidman and Guerrero locked up and exchanged some cruiserweight basics. Kidman then scored with a huricanrana and then locked in a side headlock on the mat. Chavo took control with some shots in the corner. Kidman fought back with a nice head scissors to take Chavo down, but Noble distracted Kidman and Guerrero sent Kidman into the ring post, shoulder first. Chavo then went for a cover but got two.
Chavo stomped away on Kidman on the mat and then locked in a key lock on Kidman on the mat. Kidman fought to his feet and took Chavo down with an arm drag and then kicked Chavo in the gut and scored with a flying forearm and then a back body drop and clothesline for two. Chavo then took Kidman down with a single arm DDT for two and stomped away at the shoulder of Kidman. Kidman went for the BK Bomb but Chavo escaped and then Kidman scored with a Standing Dropkick. Kidman went up top and Noble pulled him down and then Paul London came out of nowhere with a Hilo to take Noble down on the outside.
Chavo grabbed the hair of London then London kicked Chavo right in the head and Kidman came off the top with the Shooting Star Press to pick up the win!

Carlito Caribbean Cool: A video aired with a Caribbean man, sporting an afro. He is in a street and eats some apples from a market stall. He talks about being cool and then drops some of the apples from the stall. He said he spits in the face of people who don't want to be cool and then spat right in the face of the market vendor. He said that when he comes to the WWE, you better be cool, like me, Carlito Caribbean Cool!
Backstage: Theodore Long is shown as they are taking his car away and Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns roll up. Theodore said they set it up, and Kurt said yeah they did, but the car was a piece of junk, it probably belongs to a crew member. Theodore then said the car belonged to him, and Theodore said Kurt will pay for it, because next week he will go against Eddie Guerrero in a Two out of Three Falls Match! Theodore then said Kurt can have some action right here tonight against Rey Mysterio! Kurt said it was unfair, and then Theodore stopped Luther Reigns and said he is going to clean this mess up, someone get him a broom so he can get sweeping!
Best of Five Series: Match Two
John Cena vs. Booker T (c)
The music of John Cena hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for the second match in the best of five series for the United States Championship against Booker T. Cena went up 1-0 at SummerSlam with a victory, but who will come out on top tonight?
Booker T and John Cena got nose to nose as the bell rang to start the match. They locked up and Cena gave him a small package, but Booker escaped at the one count. Booker took over with some clubbing blows to the back of the head and then knocked him down with a big elbow for one. Cena fought back with right hands but Booker gave him a knee to the mid section. Booker gave Cena a flying forearm in the corner for two.
Booker scored with a snap suplex for a two count. Booker then chopped away at the chest of Cena, but Cena came back with a hip toss for two. Cena went to work on Booker in the corner with shoulder thrusts and then gave him a back elbow knockdown for two. Cena synched in an arm bar on Booker on the mat. Booker fought back with a super kick to the jaw for two. Booker locked in a rear naked choke on Cena as the crowd tried to get behind Cena. Cena fought out and gave Booker a shoulder block for two.
Booker scored with a knee to the back to knock Cena to the outside. Booker followed him out and then sent him to the barrier, and then tossed him back inside and went to the top. Booker came off with a missile dropkick on Cena and then made the cover for two. Booker stomped on Cena and kicked him square in the face. Booker hit a spin kick on Cena and then made another cover, but Cena again kicked out. Booker locked in a rear chin lock on Cena, trying to wear him down but Cena fought to his feet. Cena then ran at Booker, but Booker countered with a heel kick to knock Cena down, and seemingly out. Booker made the cover but Cena kicked out!
Booker went back to the rear naked choke on Cena and then took him down using the rear naked choke, with authority. Cena fought back with right hands and then Booker scored with a huge spinebuster but Cena again kicked out! Booker again went back to the rear naked choke on Cena. Cena fought back up and Booker kicked him in the mid section. Cena fought back with big right hands and then clotheslined Booker down, and then knocked him down with a back elbow and then a shoulder knockdown for two. Cena hit a bulldog on Booker and then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Booker T for a two count.
Cena pumped it up and then went for the FU but Booker escaped and then gave Cena snake eyes on the turnbuckle and then rolled up John Cena, with his feet on the ropes, to pick up the win and even the series at one match apiece!

In the arena: Michael Cole and Tazz announced that the next match in the Best of Five Series will take place in Sydney, Australia! Cole and Tazz promised footage from the match right here, next week on Smackdown!
In the arena: Josh Mathews was shown in the ring with Paul Heyman. Heyman said they must be wondering how he is standing here in this ring when just weeks ago he was down on his knees, begging for forgiveness. The answer Josh, is simple, he purchased a guard dog, he bought an animal that will be loyal to no one else but Paul Heyman. Heyman introduced us to his reason for supreme confidence, Heidenreich! Heidenreich then made his way to the ring as Heyman had a huge grin on his face. Heyman said ages ago, when his heart was pounding through his chest, when he was being chased down by the Undertaker. Tonight, he has no fear with Heidenreich standing next to him, and he has some very big plans to implement, and Heidenreich is going to help him. Josh said that Heyman has many enemies, can Heidenreich live up to the hype? Heidenreich asked if he looked like hype? Heidenreich then attacked Josh Mathews and delivered a huge shoulder breaker to Mathews. Heidenreich then hit a devastating slingshot into the ropes, and Mathews fell down on Heidenreich's knees. Heidenreich then choked Mathews out with a cobra clutch. Heyman got on the mic and said that is not hype, that is Heidenreich! Heyman told Heidenreich no more, and then left the ring, and Heidenreich seems to have made a big impact here on Smackdown!
A promo video aired, hyping the return of the Big Show to Smackdown!
Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio
The music of Kurt Angle hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for this singles match on Smackdown! against Rey Mysterio, and there will be no Luther Reigns out here tonight.
Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio locked it up and Angle look Mysterio down with a waist lock. Mysterio escaped and then Kurt reversed and locked in a side headlock. Kurt knocked Rey down with a shoulder block and locked in the side headlock again on the mat. Rey made it to his feet and shoved Kurt off to the ropes and Kurt came back with a shoulder block. Mysterio fought back with an arm drag and then danced around the ring like Angle would.
Angle and Mysterio locked up again and Angle gave Mysterio a double leg takedown and synched in a front face lock. Mysterio reversed with a suplex and then locked in a side headlock of his own and then knocked Angle down with a shoulder block and locked in another side headlock on Angle. Angle gave Mysterio a back drop to escape the side headlock and then gave him an uppercut in the corner. Mysterio came back with a headscissors to send Angle to the outside and then sent Angle into the barricade and this match continues after the commercial!
Back on Smackdown and during the commercial break, Kurt has regained control with a German Suplex to Mysterio. Angle gave Mysterio a big body slam and then made the cover for two. Angle gave Mysterio a belly to belly suplex and then gloated to the crowd. Angle then locked in a bear hug on Mysterio and Mysterio fought back with a headbutt but Kurt gave him a release German Suplex than sent Mysterio inside out, but Angle only got a two count! Angle went for the Angle Slam but Mysterio countered with an arm drag and then gave Angle a drop toe hold into the turnbuckle and then scored with a split legged moonsault for two.
Mysterio scored with a dropkick right to the face of Angle for two. Mysterio then took Angle down with a tilt a whirl headscissors and then went for the 619 but Angle ducked and then Mysterio again went for the 619 and this time he scored with it! Mysterio went for the West Coast Pop but Angle reversed into a powerbomb but Mysterio kicked out! Angle took down the straps and then went for the Angle Slam but Rey reversed into an inverted DDT for two!
Mysterio got caught on the second rope by Angle and Angle went for a German from the ropes, but Rey knocked him off and went for a huricanrana but Angle sat down on it to get the victory! What a match!

Smackdown! Throwback: Smackdown! is five years old and we are treated to a Throw Back. Arnold Schwarzenegger was shown being given a WWE Championship belt by Vince McMahon. He then joined the commentators for a Rock vs. Triple H match and Stone Cold Steve Austin got involved after being given a steel chair by Arnold to attack Triple H. Triple H attacked Arnold after the match, but Arnold took him out with help from Austin!
Backstage: John Bradshaw Layfield was shown in the back, walking through the halls. He went into Orlando's dressing room and he said this is not fair and it is not right. Orlando said he knows he is good, but this is the Undertaker, and there is a good chance that JBL will lose his Championship. JBL said Orlando is putting too much pressure on himself and he tried to hype up Orlando as a blue chipper and All American. JBL was panicking, and Orlando said that wearing the WWE Title will help him. JBL said Orlando is right, champions wear the title, so you go out there and beat the Undertaker, but bring my title back, okay? Orlando then left and JBL muttered to himself that he was screwed.
WWE Championship Match
The Undertaker vs. Orlando Jordan
The music of John Bradshaw Layfield hit in the arena as the limo pulled out to the arena and Orlando Jordan will be defending the WWE Championship for JBL here tonight, against none other than the Undertaker! Orlando held the WWE Championship up high over his head and then the arena faded to black as the Deadman made his way to the ring.
The Undertaker and Orlando Jordan locked up and Undertaker took him to the corner and went to work on him with right hands. The Undertaker charged at Orlando in the corner but was met with an elbow. Jordan then gave the Undertaker a hip toss and a pair of deep arm drags but the Undertaker came back with a huge boot to the face for a two count.
The Undertaker wrenched on the arm of Jordan and then gave him Old School. The Undertaker then gave Orlando a huge clothesline and made the cover and JBL broke it up by grabbing the leg of the Undertaker. The Undertaker was distracted by JBL so Orlando attacked him behind and worked him over on the outside of the ring. Back inside, and Orlando scored with a huge kick to the ripes and then hit an elbow drop for two. Orlando gave the Undertaker a body slam and then hit another elbow drop and the Undertaker again kicked out.
The Undertaker fought back with right hands but Jordan gave the Undertaker a knee to the gut and then worked him over in the corner with shoulders to the mid section. The Un Undertaker came back with Snake Eyes and then took down Orlando with a boot to the face. The Undertaker went to run the ropes but JBL grabbed his foot and the Undertaker went outside to take care of JBL but Orlando attacked him from behind again and then sent him back inside for a two count. Orlando scored with some straight rights but the Undertaker came back with a high elbow to knock Orlando down.
The Undertaker picked Jordan up for a Tombstone but Orlando escaped and scored with an STO for two. The Undertaker sat up but Orlando stayed on top of the Undertaker with right hands but the Undertaker came back with a clothesline and then sent Orlando to the corner and then splashed him. The Undertaker then splashed Orlando again and JBL got on the apron and the Undertaker gave him a right hand to knock him down and then gave Orlando a Chokeslam and then signalled for the end. The Undertaker picked Orlando up for the Tombstone and he scored with it and then made the cover but JBL pulled the referee to the outside and then the referee called for the bell and Orlando Jordan has been disqualified and JBL will keep his WWE Championship!

The Aftermath: John Bradshaw Layfield went over to Tony Chimel, the ring announcer, and told him to remind the crowd that he was still WWE Champion. The Undertaker then got face to face with JBL and the Undertaker ripped off JBL's neck brace and then stomped him on the outside of the ring. The Undertaker then slammed JBL into the announce table. JBL tried to escaped by rolling into the ring and then the Undertaker grabbed him by the throat and gave him a huge Chokeslam, leaving Orlando Jordan and John Bradshaw Layfield laid out side by side. The Undertaker then went and grabbed the WWE Championship and looked at his fallen foes. The Undertaker stared at the Championship and saluted it and the arena went a shade of blue as the show went off the air.
