- Backstage, John Bradshaw Layfield was with Kurt Angle. JBL said he wanted Eddie Guerrero tired for Sunday so Angle made a match between Guerrero and Luther Reigns later tonight.
- Backstage, a brawl between Hardcore Holly and Mordecai was shown. Because of this taking place, Holly and Mordecai will have a match at the Great American Bash this Sunday on PPV.
- Billy Gunn defeated Kenzo Suzuki via DQ after Mrs. Suzuki threw salt in Gunn's eyes. They will have a rematch at the Great American Bash this Sunday on PPV.
- Backstage, Sable and Torrie Wilson insulted each other. They were fighting about who would be a better host at the Great American Bash it seems.
- Rene Dupree defeated Rob Van Dam.
- Eddie Guerrero defeated Luther Reigns in a Non-Title Match.
After the match, JBL ran in that saw a brawl take place to hype the WWE Championship Texas Bull Rope Match this Sunday.
- The Undertaker defeated John Cena.
After the match, Paul Heyman came out and used the urn once again to show power over The Undertaker, who got down on one knee in his classic pose to worship it.
- The show overall focused on the Great American Bash.
