WWE Smackdown! opened up with a video package from last weeks show and footage was again shown from the house show when Eddie Guerrero's mother suffered a heart attack. The fireworks then went off in the arena for the start of WWE Smackdown! as Michael Cole and Tazz welcomed us to the show.

Rob Van Dam vs. D-Von Dudley
The music of Rob Van Dam hit in the arena and at Judgment Day he will be teaming with Rey Mysterio to take on the Dudley Boyz, but tonight he will be going one on one with Bubba Ray Dudley. Bubba has a bandage over his head after the beating he was given last week by Eddie Guerrero with the Steel Chair. D-Von then came to the ring and it will be D-Von against RVD here tonight. D-Von then attacked RVD from behind and went to work on him with a shot to the back of the neck, and he then worked over him on the ropes. RVD fought back with a jumping spin kick and a jumping leg lariat for a two count. RVD then set D-Von up inthe corner and hit a baseball slide dropkick to the face of D-Von. RVD then slammed D-Von and went for the split legged moonsault but Bubba distracted RVD allowing D-Von to hit his running neckbreaker from the top rope. D-Von hit a jawbreaker on RVD as the fans chanted for Mr. Thursday Night. D-Von took the Bandage of Bubba Ray and then choked out RVD with it in the corner. D-Von hit a snapmare on RVD and then locked in a reverse chin lock. D-Von then knocked RVD down with a clothesline and got a two count and then locked in a side headlock on the mat. RVD fought back to his feet and hit some elbows to the ribs and then ran the ropes and rolled D-Von up for two, and he then hit a spinning leg lariat to take D-Von down. D-Von went for a kick but RVD caught his leg and gave him a leg sweep. RVD went to the top rope and came off with a thrust kick to the sturnum for two. RVD whipped D-Von to the ropes and D-Von backdropped him to the apron, and Bubba grabbed his ankle so Rob kicked him off and then hit a hilo off the apron onto Bubba. RVD got back in the ring and was given a spin kick to the face. RVD slammed D-Von down and then hit the Rolling Thunder but Bubba put D-Von's leg on the rope. RVD then knocked Bubba down on the outside and hit a thrust kick to D-Von but D-Von took the referee down. RVD went to the top rope but Bubba crotched him. D-Von then hit a DDT from the top rope to pick up the victory!
Winner: D-Von Dudley
Bubba Ray and D-Von then began to beat down RVD but Rey Mysterio came out for the save and ran off the Dudley Boyz and these four men will go at it this Sunday at Judgment Day!
Eddie Guerrero was shown in the back and Kurt Angle was wheeled up to him but Luther Rains. Kurt said he wanted Eddie to look at him and listen. Kurt said he knows that he is upset, but what he did last week was unprovoked, and he can't take his aggression out on the Dudley's and Kurt is not going to stand for it. Kurt said he has already taken care of one lose cannon, and that was the Big Show. Kurt said he didn't give a damn if he was waiting for Bradshaw and if Eddie does anything tonight, there are going to be some severe consequences. Eddie then got up and left without saying a word with Kurt screaming for him to get back here.
A video promo was shown for Kenzo Suzuki, and it looks as if WWE have rethought the HiroHito character.
Michael Cole was in the ring and he introduced us to the new Cruiserweight Champion, Jacqueline. Jacqueline then made her way to the ring and footage was shown from last weeks edition of Smackdown! when she defeated Chavo Guerrero for the title. Cole then congratulated her on the win last week. Cole said it was a shocking win and after a week of letting this stink in, what are her thoughts? Jacqueline said she is proud to be the first woman to hold the Cruiserweight Title and she wants the fans to tell Chavo Guerrero that he lost to a girl! The music of Chavo Guerrero then hit as he and Chavo Classic made their way to the ring and they did not look to be in a good mood here tonight. Chavo took took the mic from Cole and Cole left the ring. Chavo said that he has something to say to the thief. That's right, he called Jacqueline a thief. Chavo said his Cruiserweight Championship was stolen and last week was the single worst day of his career, maybe his life. Chavo said it is the biggest rip off in WWE history and the fact is that Jacqueline cheated to beat him. Chavo said everyone knows that there is no way that Jacqueline can beat him without cheating. The fans then chanted the name of Jacqueline. Chavo said he just spoke to Kurt Angle and this Sunday it will be Jacqueline against Cahvo for the Cruiserweight Championship and to prove that Chavo is the better man, he is going to tie one arm behind his back. Chavo Classic then got on the mic and he said it was great bringing some justice back to the family, but he wants some redemption here tonight. Chavo Classic then challenged Jacqueline to a match right now. Jacqueline looked to be ready to go, and it's going to be Chavo Classic against Jacqueline and it's coming up next!
Non Title Match
Chavo Classic vs. Jacqueline (c)
Chavo and Jacqueline locked up and Chavo took her down to the mat. Jacqueline then knocked Chavo to the outside and he got back into the ring and Jacqueline took him down with a drop toe hold. Chavo gained control and locked in a reverse chinlock and then stepped on her hand. Classic then locked in an abdominal stretch as the fans chanted for Jacqueline. Chavo got an unfair advantage by using the ropes but Jacqueline escaped with a hip toss but Chavo then hit a suplex. Chavo went for a pumphandle slam but Jacqueline rolled him up for one. Classic then whipped Jacqueline to the corner but she got the advantage and then hit a Tornado DDT for a two count. Jacqueline hit some forearms and charged at Classic but he backdropped her to the apron. Chavo Jr then pulled her down and went to work on her and he then rolled her back into the ring allowing Classic to get the pinfall victory. Chavo and Classic then celebrated but Jacqueline then pulled down the pants of Classic and got the hell out of there and Classic was left rolling around on the mat.

Kurt Angle is shown in the back with Luther Rains and he can't beleive that Eddie disrespected him like that.He just walked away like Kurt was nothing. he then sent Luther to bring Eddie to him right now. He said he knows what Eddie is up to, and he will not get away with it.
Cole and Tazz then discussed the feud between the Undertaker and Booker T. Footage was then shown of Booker T last week getting dirt from the graveyard and when he left the grave, the arm of the Undertaker emerged from it.
Luther Rains took Kurt Angle to Eddie Guerrero. Kurt said that he is the boss here and he demands Eddie's respect. Kurt said he just got word that Bradshaw is on his way, and if Eddie interferes in Bradshaw's match with Rey Mysterio, he will strip Eddie of the title and give it to Bradshaw tonight. Kurt said it probably wasn't even Bradshaw's fault about the heart attack. Eddie then grabbed Kurt angrily, and Kurt told him to calm down and then told Luther to get him out of there.
Michael Cole and Tazz were shown discussing tonights match with Rey Mysterio against Bradshaw. The voice of Bradshaw came over the speakers and he said he will dismantle Rey tonight and he said he is on the way to the arena right now and he is in his limo. Tazz warned JBL not to come here because of Eddie's mood tonight. JBL said he is on his way there and then hung up.
Handicap Match
Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli vs. Booker T
Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli were shown in the ring and they were all banged up after the beating that the Undertaker gave to them last week. The music of Booker T then hit and he will be facing the FBI in a Handicap Match to show that he is just as good as the Undertaker. Booker had the bag of stuff from last week with him that he beleives will help him beat the Undertaker. Booker T then went to work on Johnny Stamboli but Nunzio came to his aid. Booker went to work on the injured ribs and knocked Nunzio down. Booker then hit a side suplex on Nunzio. Booker T hit a slam on Nunzio and then kicked Stamboli in thge face. Booker threw Nunzio to the outside and followed him out. Booker dropped Nunzio across the barricade and then got abck inside. Stamboli kicked Booker in the gut and went to work on him but Booker hit a standing side kick to knock Stamboli down. Booker then whipped Stamboli and took him down with another kick. He then hit the Scissors Kick on Johnny Stamboli to pick up the easy win.

Booker T then got on the mic and said that for all those who do not beleive, he just proved that he is just as powerful as the Undertaker. Booker stared at his little bag and then a gong hit in the arena and the lights went out. The eyes of the Undertaker then appeared on the Tron and he then dissapeared. His face then appeared on the adjacent Tron and Booker didn't like what he saw. The Undertaker then appeared on the Tron in the entrance way Booker looked scared. Paul Bearer then came out holding the Urn. Booker held his bag in front of him as if to warn off Bearer. Smoke filled the ring and the Undertaker sat up in the ring and where the hell did he come from! Booker T looked freaked out and then pointed to his little black bag as the Undertaker signalled the end of Booker T at Judgment Day!
The music of WWE Champion, Eddie Guerrero, hit in the arena as he walked out to the ring and he did not look very happy at all. Footage was once again shown of his mother suffering a heart attack at the hands of JBL. Eddie got on the mic and said that when he wears his championship, he represents each and every one of the fans. He represents all of the boys in the back and he represents America. Eddie said that JBL calls himself a true American, but a true American doesn't point at everyone saying he has better life than everyone. That is not what America is about, America is the land of opportunity and he looks at all the fans and he sees people who want to live life to the fullest. When he looks at America he looks at it as a big melting pot and JBL is ignorant to what America is. He said that this is about JBL's fortitude and that is exactly what he has to deal with this Sunday as Eddie is going to test his character and think how much of a man he really is, and Eddie is going to bring it to the fullest and kick the living shit out of Bradshaw at Judgment Day. If he thinks that Eddie is going to wait till Sunday then he is full of it. JBL traumatized his family and he then called JBL a coward. Eddie said since that happened, he has had to face his kids and they asked why he didn't do anything to JBL. Eddie said he was worried about taking care of his mom, and she is getting better. The one that people have to worry about is JBL and Eddie does not want to wait anymore and he wants to take care of it tonight. If Eddie's family is watching, he wants them to turn off the television because he does not want them to see this side of him. Eddie said there is nothing that anyone can do to stop him from kicking JBL's ass tonight.
The music of John Bradshaw Layfield then hit in the arena and the limo came out to the entrance way and Eddie went down to the limo and tried to get in, but it was locked. Eddie then garbbed a steel pipe and smashed in the windows on the limosine. Eddie then opened the door and JBL was not inside. Eddie asked the driver where he was and then the police came out and JBL said to arrest him for destruction of his property. They handcuffed Eddie and Eddie said this was not the first time. JBL asked Eddie what he was going to do. JBL said Eddie should be deported and asked how his mother is doing. Eddie then charged at JBL and JBL knocked him down and Eddie continued to go after JBL. JBL said Eddie attacked him as the police restrained Guerrero. JBL told them to get him out of here and he said Eddie is going to jail. He said for them to let him out Sunday and told Eddie to use his phonecall to call his mother.
Rico vs. Hardcore Holly
The music of Rico hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Miss Jackie and Charlie Haas and he and Haas are the WWE Tag Team Champions. The music of Hardcore Holly then hit in the arena as he made his way out with Billy Gunn and this match will see Rico and Hardcore Holly go one on one, but this Sunday it will be Hardcore Holly and Billy Gunn against Rico and Charlie Haas for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Rico and Hardcore Holly locked up and Rico backed Hardcore to the corner and then pranced around the ring and Holly said he is not going to play that kind of game. They locked up again and Rico gave Hardcore a full arm drag and twist but Holly reversed and then Rico locked in a waist lock but Holy reversed and Rico acted as if he liked it. Hardcore warned Rico and then knocked him down with a big clothesline. They again locked up and Holly locked in a side headlock. Rico then whipped Holly to the ropes but Holly hit a shoulder block. Rico again ran the ropes and took Holly down and then locked in an arm bar. Hardcore Holly went to work on Rico in the corner with chops to the chest and the Rico fought back with some chops of his own. Rico then hit a big kick in the corner to the side of Holly's head and then locked in a headlock on the mat. Hardcore Holly then hit the kick in the balls on the ropes on Rico and then went for the Alabama Slam but Rico escaped but Hardcore Holly then rolled up Rico for two. Rico hit a mulekick on Holly and then whipped him to the ropes and Holly then hit the big dropkick for two. Rico hit a superkick on Holly for two. Rico went up top and came off with a cross body but Holly rolled through for the victory.

Michael Cole and Tazz announced that Torrie Wilson against Dawn Marie has been signed for Judgment Day. Footage was shown of Rene Dupree earlier this week with Fifi and this is a segment of Cafe de Rene. Dupree said that he feels that he has been mistreated by America. He said that he gets booed because America is in denial. He said the rest of the world hates America and that America treats them as second class citizens. Footage was shown of last weeks edition of Smackdown! when Dupree delivered a vicious assault to John Cena. Rene asked if he was too violent but that was nothing compared to what he is going to do to Cena at Judgment Day. Dupree said that this Sunday he will become the first Frenchman to become United States Champion.
A video was shown for Mordecai. He speaks about sin eating away at society and said it makes a black hole of dispair. He said he is going to punish the wicked and turn each sin against the sinner. Mordecai will be debuting this Sunday.
Non Title Match
Sakoda vs. John Cena (c)
Sakoda was shown in the ring then the music of John Cena hit and he made his way out for this non title match. Cena gave his jersey away to a fan in the crowd. Cena and Sakoda locked up and Sakoda locked in a side headlock. Cena went to work with some right hands and then Cene charged at Sakoda but Sakoda went outside. Cena went to work on Sakoda outside but Akio then hit Cena with a kick to the face. Sakoda rolled Cena back into the ring and got a two count. Sakoda hit some knees to the face of Cena and then went to work on him in the corner. Sakoda hit a running knee right to the temple of Cena and got a two count out of it. Sakoda then locked in a rear naked choke but Cena got to his feet and escaped and the two exchanged rights. Cena knocked Sakoda down with a shoulder block and then hit the five knuckle shuffle on Sakoda. Cena pumped up his shoes but Akio went to get in the ring, but changed his mind. Cena then hit the FU on Sakoda for the victory. Akio then got in the ring and he was given the FU by Cena and Cena then threw his bag of nuts at Akio and Sakoda.

Up next, John Bradshaw Layfield will go one on one with Rey Mysterio, and this Sunday at Judgment Day, JBL will challenge Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Championship!
John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Rey Mysterio
JBL made his way to the ring for the main event on Smackdown! against Rey Mysterio. JBL and Mysterio locked up and JBL powered Mysterio down to the mat. They locked up again and again JBL manhandled Mysterio. Mysterio fought back and whipped JBL to the ropes but JBL knocked him down with a shoulder block. Bradshaw kicked Mysterio in the spine and then went for a powerbomb but Rey countered and took him down. Rey slid outside the ring and made JBL chase him around the ring. JBL got tired and stopped running and Mysterio hit a baseball slide and then hurled himself over the top rope but Bradshaw caught him and hit the fallaway slam on the floor. JBL chopped Mysterio down to the mat and then put Rey back in the ring. Bradshaw kneed Mysterio in the corner and hit some clubbling blows to knock Rey down. JBL hit a suplex on Mysterio and then kicked him in the head. Bradshaw slammed him down to the mat and hit a series of elbow drops to Rey. Bradshaw picked Rey up in a Torture Rock but Rey escaped but Bradshaw knocked him down. Bradshaw went to work on Rey in the corner with rights and then hit a chop to the chest. Bradhsaw hit a pumphandle slam on Mysterio and then kicked him around on the mat. Bradshaw perched Mysterio on the top rope and hit a series of chops. Mysterio fought back and his a Tornado DDT on Bradshaw. Rey then kicked JBL to the ropes and hit the 619. Mysterio went for the West Coast Pop but Bradshaw moved and hit a big boot to Mysterio and then threw Rey outside. JBL whipped Mysterio into the steel steps and then sent him head first into the time keepers table. He threw Rey over the announce table and then back again. Bradshaw threw Rey back into the ring and whipped Rey to the corner and hit a big clothesline in the corner. Bradshaw then powerbombed Mysterio into the buckle, and that looked very sick. Bradshaw then hit the Clothesline from Hell and JBL picked up the victory.
Winner: John Bradshaw Layfield
Bradshaw got on the mic and said to make no mistake that he does not give a damn about Eddie Guerrero's mother. That old lady was lucky enough to be alive when Eddie became champion and if she makes it to Sunday, odds are she will have another heart attack when he beats the hell out of Eddie. And if she dies, she dies, this isn't about her, this is about JBL and his quest to become WWE Champion. JBL said Eddie made this personal. JBL then said he will personally guarentee that he will become WWE Champion this Sunday at Judgment Day.
