WWE Smackdown! opened up with Michael Cole standing in the ring and he said that this past weekend a tragic incident occured involving the Guerrero family. Eddie Guerrero's mother suffered a heart attack at a Smackdown! Live Event in El Paso, Texas. The footage that follows is of Eddie Guerrero after finishing up his match.
Live Event in El Paso, Texas:
Eddie Guerrero was shown in the ring and said that this Sunday is mothers day. He then introduced his wife and kids to the ring and he wants to pay homage to his wife who is a great mother. They then made their way to the ring and waved to the crowds. He then intoduced them to the crowd and he made out with his wife as the fans chanted his name. Eddie then said he loved his wife and gave her a big bouquet of flowers.
Eddie then introduced his mother to the ring and he said that she deserves a medal. He said it look a strong lady to raise Los Guerrero's. Eddie said he wanted to share this with the fans in El Paso. Eddie said that his mother moved to the United States from Mexico to give her sons a chance to make something of themselves in this life, and with that, she made her way down to the ring.
Eddie hugged his mother and gave her a bunch of flowers. Eddie said this is the real mamacita, and then his music hit as he hugged and kissed his mother. JBL made his way out and have Eddie the Clothesline for Hell and then knocked him out with the WWE Championship.
Eddie's wife and kids fled the ring with his mother left inside. Bradshaw started staring at her and made his way over to her and she looked petrified. She began to hold her chest as she screamed at him. JBL told her to get out of here and he laid his hands on her and went down the mat in pain. JBL backed off as Eddie's wife and kids screamed at ringside. Eddie came to his senses as the trainer came to the ring and Eddie was furious and emotional at what had happened to his mother. They then wheeled Eddie's mother to the back, and Eddie was concerned to say the very least.
Michael Cole and Tazz are then shown at the announce table and they said that Bradshaw crossed the line. Tazz said that JBL had no business out there and it was tough to watch, and tonight we hope to have an update on Eddie Guerrero's mother.

Tonight we will hear from JBL on the situation with Eddie's mother and also Eddie Guerrero will team with RVD against the Dudley Boyz and the Undertaker will be in action!
Non Title Match
Doug Basham vs. John Cena (c)
The music of John Cena hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for the following non title match against Doug Basham who was accompanied by his brother, Danny. John Cena got on the mic as the fans heavily chanted his name. Cena said that he fights for the people and for the flag. Cena said that Judgment Day is coming up and said he's gonna smash Rene Dupree, and he is going to start tonight with Doug Basham. There is something weird about two guys who are always switching positions. Cena said he will beat him really quick tonight, so they can get back to beating each other. Cena then said he hits the five moves of doom, then they hear the one, two, three. He then did his "Deez Nutz" line and then threw his Pheonix Suns jersey to the crowd.
John Cena ad Doug Basham locked it up and Cena backed Basham to the ropes and gave the clean break and the two got into a shoving match. Cena gave Basham a hip toss and then locked in a side headlock. Basham backed Cena to the ropes and went to work on him and then sent him head first to the buckle.
Doug Basham whipped John Cena to the turnbuckle which knocked Cena down to the mat. Basham then went to work on Cena with right hands but Cena fought back. Danny Basham then attacked Cena on the apron while the referee was distracted with Doug and then covered Cena for a two count.
Basham gave Cena a snapmare and then a leg drop for a two count. Doug then locked in a side headlock but Cena escaped and hooked in a sleeper hold, but Basham escaped and locked in one of his own, but Cena escaped with a belly to back suplex.
Cena knocked Basham down with a high elbow and a clothesline and then hit a sidewalk slam and then connected with the five knuckle shuffle. Danny Basham got on the apron and Cena knocked him down. John Cena then pumped his shoes and hit the FU on Doug Basham to pick up the victory!

Footage was shown of last week's Smackdown! when the Undertaker came to the ring to confront Booker T, but Booker knocked him down with the Urn. The Undertaker then sat up and Booker T got out of dodge, and at Judgment Day it will be Booker T and the Undertaker one on one.
Footage was shown of Booker T and he was in some sort of creepy store. He was then going to leave and a voice called out teling him to stay. He asked if that was Mama Sangrea and she said she had answers. Booker and the fortune teller were shown at a table and she said Booker will be dragged down by a black shadow into the ground. Booker said he knows all about the shadow and that he needs help. She then puts a bunch of junk in a small bag and gave it to Booker. She said he needs one more thing and she said that Booker needs dirt from a graveyard. A fresh grave dug at 12 midnight, on a full moon from a grave with no name. She then said it will find him.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
The World vs. Chavo Guerrero (c)
The music of Chavo Guerrero hit in the arena as he made his wat out with Chavo "Classic". Chavo Classic got on the mic and said he is very emotional because his mother had a heart attack this past Sunday. Chavo Jr got on the mic and said that Chavo Classic really is a Classic. Chavo said last week he made a promise and he is here to fulfill that promise. Last week he made a challenge and he is here to see if anyone has accepted that challenge, because tonight, it's Chavo Guerrero vs. The World!
The music of Jacqueline then played in the arena as she made her way to the ring! Chavo then laughed and asked if she was serious. Chavo asked if this was a joke and asked to bring on the real opponent, and Chavo then realised that she was serious. Chavo said he is a fair man, and wrestler her wouldn't be fair. There is not a man alive that can beat Chavo Guerrero, much less a woman. Chavo said unless she's here to do something else to him, why don't you go to the back and make me a sandwich! Chavo asked if she was hard of hearing and told her to leave again, but she didn't budge. With that, Jacqueline slapped Chavo right across the face!
Chavo took Jacqueline down the mat and locked in a front facelock and then hit a drop toe hold and then put Jacqueline in an armbar and then hit an arm drag.
Chavo went for a splash in the corner and went to work with some forearms on Chavo and then hit a headscissors and a dropkick. Chavo then picked her up and hit a belly to back suplex to take Jacqueline down to the mat.
Chavo Classic then got the belt as if Chavo had already won the match and tried to get in the ring, but with the referee distracted, Jacqueline hit a low blow and rolled Chavo up for the victory and we have a new Cruiserweight Champion!

The Full Blooded Italians were in the ring set for action as the music of Kurt Angle hit in the arena and he was pushed out to the entrance way by his minder, Luther Rains. Angle said he held out hope that the disrespect that was shown to him last week was a one off, and that these people would realise the sacrifices that he made for them, sacrifices that led to the end of his career, but he was wrong and from the bottom of his heart, he is deeply dissapointed and ashamed of every one of them.
Despite all of that, Angle said he is the General Manager of this show and last week he made a promise that tonight, in action, would be the Undertaker! Angle said he had his associate, Luther Rains, to ask every superstar who wanted to face the Undertaker tonight, an opportunity that he would have jumped at if he was still able to wrestle, which brings him to the two of them in that ring, incinuating the FBI. Angle said that he knows they were expecting a tag team match, but things do not always go to plan and tonight, the two of them will face the Undertaker, right now!
Handicap Match
The Undertaker vs. The Full Blooded Italians
With that, the music of the Undertaker hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Paul Bearer, and this is the first time since WrestleMania that the Undertaker will be in action! Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli looked scared to death of the Undertaker as he glared at them and they wanted no piece of the deadman.
Johnny Stamboli attacke dthe Undertaker from behind but the Undertaker knocked him down with a big boot. Nunzio then hung the Undertaker from the top rope but the Undertaker then knocked him off the apron.
The Undertaker wrenched the arm of Johnny Stamboli and then went to the corner, but the Undertaker was distracted by Nunzio and Stamboli got an advantage and then hit a big DDT for a two count. The Undertaker then sat up and went to work on Stamboli and hit a flying clothesline on Stamboli.
The Undertaker took the arm of Stamboli and hit the "Old School" on Stamboli. The Undertaker then hit a variation of the Stroke and then locked in a front face lock to get the submission victory!
Winner: The Undertaker
Nunzio attacked The Undertaker after the match and he delivered the Last Ride to Nunzio. The Undertaker then picked up Johnny Stamboli and hit the Tombstone and the Undertaker has single handedly destroyed the FBI!
Booker T was shown at the graveyard looking for the grave with no name, and he then found it. Booker T gathered up some of the dirt from the grave and was about to leave, but he heard thunder and looked around and said he is getting the hell out of here. The grave was then shown and the arm of the Undertaker emerged from the grave!
Backstage: Josh Mathews is shown outside of Eddie Guerrero's locker room and he wants to get a few words with Eddie regarding his mother's heart attack. Footage was then shown again of the incident at the El Paso, Texas, Live Event.
Eddie Guerrero is shown and he looks very angry. Josh asked if he blamed JBL or blamed himself for the indcident. Eddie looked at him and looked as if he was about to explode and Josh had a look of fright on his face and slowly backed away from Guerrero.
Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
The music of Torrie Wilson hit the arena and Rene Dupree was shown sitting at ringside as he stared at Torrie. The music of Dawn Marie then hit as she made her way out for this Diva's contest!
Dawn Marie attacked Torrie and went to work on her in the corner. Dawn rammed Torrie into the buckle and then snapmared her down to the mat and gouged the face of Torrie was Rene Dupree looked on.
Dawn Marie hit a legdrop on Torrie Wilson for a two count. Dawn then went to the corner and removed the turnbuckle pad and rammed Torrie face first into the steel buckle. She went to do it again but Torrie blocked it and hit a pair of clotheslines and then hit a neckbreaker for a two count. Torrie went up top and Rene tried to stop her by pulling her leg but she kicked him off and then hit a crossbody on Dawn Marie for a two count.
John Cena then made his way out and as Torrie was down on the outside of the ring, Dupree went to put his hands on her and then Cena made the save but when he checked on Torrie, Dupree attacked him from behind and went to work on Cena and rammed him face first into the announce table and then threw him into the crowd.
Winner: No Contest
Dupree then tossed a chair into the ring and pulled Cena back over the barricade and threw Cena into the ring. Cena tried to fight back but Dupree shoved Cena into the exposed turnbuckle and then threw him back outside.
Dupree drove Cena's head right into the ringpost and then went over to the announce table and got onto the monitors and rammed it into the gut of John Cena. Dupree then powerbombed John Cena right through the announce table and then got the French Flag and whacked Cena on the back with it, as the crowd heavily booed Dupree. He then laid the French Flag over John Cena, and Cena looked to be in bad shape.
During The Break: Rene Dupree threw a chair right at Cena who was laid out on the floor and it hit him right in the knee and what will happen at Judgment Day?
Update on Eddie Guerrero's Mother: Eddie's mother was released from the hospital today and she suffered a mild heart attack and she is recovering at home in a guarded environment.
John Bradshaw Layfield in New York City:
JBL asked if Michael Cole heard the boos he just received, and he says that these people think that he is responsible for what happened to Eddie's mother. Cole asked what made him do it and what made him manhandle Eddie's mother. Bradshaw said he asked politely for her to leave and that he did not manhandle her. Bradshaw said that they should not have been in the ring in the first place.
It was not "Bring Your Family to Work Day" and he had no right to bring them in the ring. Tazz asked if he is going to apologize. Bradshaw said that Eddie has to take responsibility for this and he will not apologize. Bradshaw said he is in New York because he works for CNBC and that next week he will be there and on May 16 at Judgment Day, will be the day when John Bradshaw Layfield becomes the new WWE Champion.
Bradshaw then said that she didn't have a heart attack at all, she faked it, think about it, she's a Guerrero, she tought them to lie, cheat and steal and she probably did the same. Bradshaw said his parents bred him for success. Bradshaw said his people came to this country in a boat, not an innertube, and just like Eddie Guerrero's title reign, this interview is ended.
Paul Heyman is shown backstage with Kurt Angle and he said that Eddie Guerrero is a mad man tonight, and he said that Eddie is ready to explode and if Eddie goes into that ring tonight, he is going to explode. Paul said if anything happens to the Dudley Boyz tonight at the hands of Eddie Guerrero, he will advise them to sue. Kurt Angle said Eddie Guerrero will be taken out of the match tonight and he then sent Luther to get the replacement partner for Rob Van Dam.
The Dudley Boyz vs. Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio
The music of the Dudley Boyz hit in the arena as Bubba Ray and D-Von made their way to the ring and they are ready for tag team action against Rob Van Dam and his partner is going to be Rey Mysterio!
Bubba Ray and Rob Van Dam locked up and RVD went for a spin kick, but Bubba got in the ropes. They locked up again and Bubba backed RVD into the corner and then went for a right hand but RVD ducked and went to work on Bubba in the corner and then hit a dropkick to his face and then knocked D-Von off the apron.
RVD went for a shoulder tackle in the corner but was met with a clothesline from Bubba Ray who then tagged in D-Von. RVD got the advantage and hit a spin kick to D-Von but D-Von gained control with a clothesline and then choked RVD on the middle ropes.
D-Von tagged Bubba back into the match and RVD hit a dropkick to Bubba for a two count and then went for a tag but Bubba held him back but RVD hit a kick to the chin and then tagged in Mysterio. Mysterio went to work on Bubba and went for a sunset flip and Bubba went to squash him, but Mysterio moved out of the way.
Rey Mysterio went for a 619 on D-Von Dudley but Bubba cut him off with a tackle to knock Mysterio down. Bubba then hit a stiff right hand to the face of Mysterio and then whipped him to the corner and went for a splash but Mysterio moved and then hit the 10 punch in the corner and followed up with a huricanrana and a springboard bulldog for two.
Mysterio hit a straight kick to the face of Bubba and then went for a whip but Bubba reversed and then hit a cheapshot on RVD to knock him down. D-Von then grabbed Mysterio from the outside and pulled him groin first into the ring post as we went to commercial.
Back from commercial and D-Von has a side headlock on Mysterio. Mysterio escaped with elbows to the mid section but D-Von whipped him sturnum first to the buckle. Rey then reversed a back suplex and went for a tag and made it but Bubba had the referee distracted and he didn't allow the tag as the Dudley Boyz then double teamed Rey Mysterio.
Bubba Ray gave Mysterio a suplex and and went for the Bubba Bomb but Mysterio countered sending Bubba to the turnbuckle. Mysterio then crawled to the corner to make a tag and made it. RVD got in the ring and went to work on D-Von with kicks and spin kicks to the face. He then sent D-Von to the buckle and hit a spin kick from the middle rope.
D-Von gained control and whipped him to the corner but RVD got his feet up and Mysterio hit a springboard senton and RVD hit the split legged moonsault for two. The Dudley Boyz went for the "Whazzup" headbutt but RVD interviend and then Mysterio hit a crossbody on Bubba on the outside and RVD went for the Five Star Frogsplash on D-Von but D-Von rolled out of the way!
Rey Mysterio knocked Bubba Ray out of the ring and Rob Van Dam sent D-Von Dudley to the ropes and Mysterio hit the 619 and then Mysterio Dropped the Dime on D-Von as RVD hit the Rolling Thunder to pick up the win!
Winners - Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio
Bubba then attacked both men from behind as both Dudley Boyz went to work on RVD and Mysterio. The Dudley Boyz hit the 3D on Mysterio and then sent D-Von to get a chair. Eddie Guerrero then made his way out and went to work on the Dudley Boyz and he laid them out and then threw the referee out of the ring.
Eddie picked up the chair and hit them both head first and another referee came out and he got nailed with a chair. RVD then got hit with the chair and Eddie then bashed the Dudley Boyz in the head again and Eddie Guerrero has lot it right here on Smackdown! and this emotional week has come crashing down on the shoulders of Eddie Guerrero.
