Updated Information About New RAW Magazine Concerning Stone Cold Steve Austin
As advertised on WWE RAW last night, the newest edition of WWE RAW magazine will feature Steve Austin's explanation on why he walked out on the WWE last summer. The following are some quick highlights from the article:

Austin said that one of the worst things about how WWE handled him walking out on the company was bringing in The Rock a few weeks after and having Rock bad mouth him in front of a live audience. Austin said that The Rock showed disrespect towards him and added that he helped make The Rock what he is today. Austin felt overall that Rock shouldn't have done the promo, saying that Rock was totally out of line.

(Quick Note: Current reports are now stating that if WWE isn't able to sign Goldberg by WrestleMania, Steve Austin could be the one facing The Rock. So, with these latest comments from Austin in this article, it could be possibly setting up a match between the two come March. It should be also noted that if The Rock does get his way however, he will face Bill Goldberg instead of Austin BUT it should be strongly noted that Goldberg has yet to even reach an agreement, contract wise, with WWE as of now.)

Austin also mentioned that things changed within WWE when he returned from his neck surgery. He said that there was a difference in how Vince McMahon treated him. Austin added that before he left, Triple H was playing a much "goofier" character and when he came back, Triple H was being presented as the toughest guy in the company. Austin also said that without pointing out names (*cough* Triple H *cough*), many wrestlers would sit in on creative and agent meetings, calling them a direct conflict of interest.

(Quick Notes: It should be pointed out that Austin hated when Triple H would take part in these meetings and even went as far as to throw him out of some during his previous run with the company)

Austin also mentioned how Eric Bischoff fired him from WCW, saying that a guy with black tights and wrestling boots could never draw a penny. It is expected that WWE could pull off an angle with this, having Austin accepting Bischoff's invitation back to WWE but saying he wouldn't work for him, leading to Shane McMahon taking over RAW.

As you can tell, this is a very good article and it is a must read for any wrestling fan that wants to know more about this situation. The magazine is currently on sale on all newsstands and is also availabe on WWEShopzone.com by
