WWE RAW Results - 11/10/03 - Goldberg vs Batista
The fireworks went off in the arena for the start of RAW and tonight, we will witness Bill Goldberg's return to the ring as he takes on the man who took him out of action, Batista! Plus, Shawn Michaels wrestles Randy Orton in a rematch from Unforgiven!

Lita's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring and this Sunday at the Survivor Series, she will take on Molly Holly for the Women's Title! Also, she'll be in tag team action later tonight but she has to be thinking about this Sunday. Lita got in the ring and she took the mic and said that people tell her that coming back after everything she's been through this past year is a pretty big accomplishment and maybe it is. But she will tell everyone that nothing will compare to the feeling she will get when this Sunday at Survivor Series, she beats Molly Holly and becomes the next Women's Champion. And at this point, there is nothing that...

Triple H's music hit in the arena and he made his way out as the former World Heavyweight Champion and this Sunday night, he will challenge Goldberg in a rematch for the title from Unforgiven! Triple H came out to the ring with Batista and Randy Orton and it was noted that Ric Flair isn't here tonight for personal reasons. Triple H got in the ring and posed on the ropes, ignoring the fact that Lita was still in the ring. Triple H finally confronted Lita and she asked them if she can help them but Triple H took the mic and told her that she can help him. He asked for a dollar from Randy... Triple H told Lita that he was nice enough to let her come out here and say her piece and unless she's going to dance and get naked for the dollar, then he suggests that she takes a hike. With that, Lita left the ring. Triple H then said let him refresh everybody's memory by rolling a little piece of footage that he has set up. He is here tonight to congratulate Batista on a magnificent return. When a guy is injured and out for a long time, he has to scratch and claw his way to the top but Batista comes in and nearly destroys Goldberg. That's how you make a come back. Now Goldberg has a broken ankle and yet he challenges the animal that maimed him to a match tonight and then he thinks that he's going to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Triple H on Sunday. There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

The fans started chanting "Goldberg!" and Triple H asked them continue. Goldberg, the man with more guts than brains and let's face it, this Sunday at Survivor Series, Goldberg is the proverbial one legged man in an ass kicking contest and baby, Triple H wrote the book on kicking ass. So Goldberg, this Sunday...

Stone Cold Steve Austin's music then hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the Co General Manager of RAW and this could be the last time we see him in the ring on RAW because his team has to win at the Survivor Series this Sunday as his career is in the hands of others and he can't be too comfortable with that. Triple H and Austin got face to face and the fans heavily chanted "Austin, Austin!" Austin said that he was nice enough to let them come out here but it's like they told Lita; take a hike! Triple H said that what Austin is trying to do is give these people one last great Stone Cold / Triple H moment before he loses his job as Co GM at Survivor Series, right? Randy took the mic and said that as a member of Eric Bischoff's Survivor Series team, he's going to make sure that he's responsible for killing the legend of the rattlesnake. Austin said that we'll see what HBK has to say about killing legends later on tonight.

But Austin has a question for Triple H; he's out here all dressed up. Was he planning on wrestling tonight? Triple H responded by saying no and Austin went over a few match types and Triple H said nope. Austin then told Triple H to get his ass out of here. Triple H asked Austin what he's going to do about it if he doesn't? Batista said that Austin isn't going to do anything. It's like he said last week; Austin's a coward! Austin thanked God that he only has to take care of this crap for six more days because after Survivor Series, he's going to take care of each one of their asses. And since they're doing no good for him tonight, he'd like to have security come down and escort Triple H from the building. Security came out and Austin told Triple H that he's escorted out of the building and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!

Security got in the ring and Batista and Orton stared them down and Triple H took the mic, telling Austin that he's going to leave but not because Austin told him to, but because he wants to. Triple H then told each and every one of the security guards something; on this card is the number to his lawyer, if they lay a hand on any of them, then he will sue each and every one of their asses. Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton then left the ring together and Triple H will be forced to leave the arena and this Sunday night, he's got Goldberg at the Survivor Series!

Backstage: Stone Cold went into the backstage area and he ran into Team Bischoff and they were applauding him. Eric told Austin that he's finally getting this General Manager thing down. It's too bad it's a little late. Let's face it; next week, Team Bischoff is going to destroy Team Austin and then Austin is out of here. Eric asked Austin what he thinks of that? Austin started to talk and then his team showed up and Booker said that they're going to go out there and show Bischoff's team exactly what's going to happen at Survivor Series; they're going to go out there and bum rush all their asses, now can you dig that, suckaaa? On that note, Team Austin and Team Bischoff argued in the backstage area as the show went to a commercial break.

Intercontinental Championship
Christian vs. Rob Van Dam (c)
Rob Van Dam's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the Intercontinental Champion for a one on one match and title defense against the former Intercontinental Champion, Christian!
RVD did his taunt and Christian went after him but RVD started hammering away on him before knocking Christian down with a spinning heel kick.
RVD and Christian battled to the outside of the ring and RVD set Christian up on the security wall and then he went to the ring apron and came off with a spinning leg drop to the back of Christian's head to knock him to the ground.
Christian gave RVD a thumb to the eye and then he planted him with a vicious DDT and a pin for a two count. Christian then pinned RVD once again in an attempt to get a three count but he only got two.
After RVD shoved the referee out of the way, Christian gave Rob a low blow and then he got out of the ring and grabbed Lilian and shoved her down to the floor. Christian then grabbed a steel chair and the Intercontinental Title and brought both of them into the ring. The referee took the belt and Christian went to use the chair on RVD but RVD tripped Christian up and then he hit him with the rolling thunder.
After hitting the rolling thunder, RVD hopped to the top rope and came off with the five star frog splash and a pin for the three count to retain the title!
Winner: Rob Van Dam

Shane McMahon was shown in a restaurant and he was there hoping to get a table... a table for two.

The Coach's music hit in the arena and he made his way out, wearing a Yankees Jersey. As he made his way to the ring, he said that everybody knows him as Jonathan Coachman, but tonight, they can call him The Coach. He's not going to let anyone bring him down, not tonight. Because Mr. Bischoff has sent him out here tonight to do something that is not only humanitarian but is downright gentlemanly. Coach referred to Lilian, who was standing in the ring and he said that we saw what happened to her and her little chair during the last match so Mr. Bischoff has decided that for her own safety of course that Coach replaces her as the ring announcer for the evening. So if she doesn't mind, get to stepping so he can handle his business! Coach told Lilian that he decided; it's for her, not for Coach. Coach then held the ropes for her but then let them go and laughed. Lilian then left the ring and the music of La Resistance hit in the arena.

La Resistance vs. Rosey & Hurricane
Rob Conway and Rene Dupree made their way out to the ring and they crossed Lilian's path and Rene Dupree kissed Lilian's hand as they passed each other. And the opponents of La Resistance for tonight are none other than the Hurricane and Rosey, who had a run in with La Resistance last night on Sunday Night Heat.
La Resistance and Rosey and the Hurricane got in a brawl on the outside of the ring and the two knocked Hurricane down and then they went to work on Rosey but Rosey knocked the duo down with a double clothesline. Hurricane then went to the top rope and came off with a flying cross body onto both members of La Resistance on the outside of the ring.
The Hurricane went for a choke slam on Rob Conway but Conway blocked it and then shoved Hurricane into the corner. Hurricane knocked Conway down and then he went to the second rope but Rene Dupree knocked him down.
Rob Conway charged at the Hurricane and pulled him down to the mat with a devastating swinging neck breaker and then he pinned him to get the three count for his team.
Winners: La Resistance

Backstage: Lita and Terri were shown and Terri was telling Lita that she's not here to wrestle tonight. She can't help her with Molly and Gail Kim. Lita said that she knows Terri got pulled into this last week and Lita is going to take care of the wrestling part of it. Terri told Lita that she's just scared and Bischoff showed up and told Terri to hit the bricks because he needed some time with Lita. Eric told her that he feels so bad for Lita. Lita thanked Eric for his sympathy, it means a lot. Eric said that it's not going to compare how she feels next Monday night when he takes over as the sole General Manager of RAW. He remembers that he fired her about 7 months ago but Austin brought her back. Eric then said that next week, Austin is going to be history so if he was Lita, he'd learn how to play ball with Mr. Bischoff. Bischoff left, wishing Lita good luck as Lita did her best to ignore him.

Backstage: Chris Jericho rallies the rest of the Team Bischoff members for their match at Survivor Series giving them all reasons to hate Austin. Randy Orton joins the meeting late and says that they can all count on him and if they don't believe it, watch his match tonight against Shawn Michaels. Orton leaves and Teddy Long says that Orton is cocky.

Backstage: Val Venis was shown with two lovely ladies in the backstage area and they were looking for Lance Storm to give him the surprise of his life. Val told one of the ladies that she's going with Lance and the other is going with Val. Val explained to them that he's a big guy with a big heat. Val told Lance to come out because he's got a surprise for him and close his eyes. Lance Storm came out of the shower and the two ladies were checking him out as Val told Lance that these ladies are hanging out with them tonight. One of the ladies said that Lance's heart isn't the only thing that's big.

Shane McMahon was shown at the restaurant and the waiter showed up and asked him what he wanted and Shane said that he'll wait. He's got a guest and they'll be there soon.

Terri & Lita vs. Molly Holly & Gail Kim
Lita's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring along with Terri, who wasn't dressed for competition and they're up against Molly Holly and Gail Kim in this tag team match.
Molly and Gail ran after Terri and attacked her and pulled her into their corner and then Gail gave her a side slam in the center of the ring, forcing her to legally start it in the
Lita was finally tagged into the match and she unleashed on both Gail and Molly like a house of fire.
Gail Kim kicked Lita right in the head and then Molly rolled Lita up from behind and hooked the ropes for the three count to get the win.
Winners: Gail Kim and Molly Holly

Gail and Molly went after Terri and pulled her dress off and then slammed her into the security wall before leaving the ringside area.

Backstage: Shawn Michaels was shown walking through the backstage area and his match against Randy Orton is up next!

Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels
Evolution's music hit in the arena and Randy Orton made his way out to the ring alone for his one on one match against the legendary Shawn Michaels!
Shawn and Randy locked it up in the center of the ring and Randy put Shawn in a side headlock and then Shawn whipped Randy off the ropes and Randy came back with a hard shoulder block to knock HBK down to the mat.
Shawn knocked Randy down to the mat and went for the super kick early but Randy dropped down to the mat and bailed out of the ring and ran around the ring, luring Shawn back into the ring.
On the outside of the ring, Randy drove Shawn Michaels into the ring apron back first in an attempt to further injure Shawn's already injured back and then he yelled to him; "I'm the legend killer!"
Randy Orton shoved Shawn Michaels into Earl Hebner to knock him out of the ring and then Randy gave Shawn a modified back breaker. Randy then got out of the ring for a steel chair and Coach kindly allowed Orton to take his chair. Randy got in the ring with a steel chair and set it up in the ring and went to give Shawn a back breaker on it but Shawn got out of it and gave Randy a back breaker of his own. Shawn then disposed of the evidence and then set up for the super kick.
Shawn Michaels then laid Randy Orton out with the super kick and then pinned him for the three count to get the win!
Winner: Shawn Michaels

At the restaurant, we see Shane McMahon eating. Finally, Kane shows up in his normal clothes and says that he always keep his promises before the cameras cut away.

Back at the restaurant, Shane told Kane that he wants him to think about what they're going to do to each other this Sunday because this is the last time they meet. Kane knows damn well that whoever gets thrown into the ambulance isn't coming back. Shane told Kane that he has no more emotion and he will stop at nothing. Kane asked Shane how his mother is doing? He then told Shane that he reminds him so much of Linda before he smashed her head into the steel girder. He can still remember the sound she made. He could barely hear it over the screams, but he heard it. And since they're being open, he has a confession. Do you know why Kane tried to electrocute him a while back? Kane wanted to make sure that Shane never had the pleasure of having a child. He wanted to make sure that whenever he and his wife try to start a family, he thinks of Kane. Just out of curiosity, did he succeed? Shane says he has no emotion and no remorse, Kane's been like that since he's been born. Unlike Shane, Kane has never felt compassion. Shane knows love and Kane doesn't. Kane is a monster who's only happiness is derived from making others suffer and this Sunday, Shane will suffer and he's going to find out that for all his guts, he cannot stop pure evil. Shane told Kane that he's not evil, he's pathetic. He says he's a monster, but he's not; he's a self pitying son of a bitch. Kane can live in reality but he chooses not to. It's because he's afraid. Shane knows it, deep down and Kane knows it. Shane dares to say that even Kane's brother knows it. So whatever he has bottled up inside of him, Shane promises this; at Survivor Series, he's going to put Kane out of his misery.

Non Title Match
Scott Steiner & Mark Henry vs. The Dudley Boyz (c)
The Dudley Boyz made their way out to the ring as the Tag Team Champions for a non title match against Scott Steiner and Mark Henry! Scott Steiner was accompanied to the ring by the unwilling Stacy Keibler and Theodore Long accompanied Mark Henry at ringside.
Scott Steiner started it off in the ring against D-Von Dudley and the two exchanged words and then they locked it up and Scott gave D-Von a knee to the mid section and then he took him down with an over the head suplex.
As the match was going on, Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak were shown looking on from the backstage area and Jim Ross referred to Cade as "Lance Cade," his previous ring name. One can only assume that was a mistake, just as it was last week.
D-Von rolled up Scott Steiner and got a near fall and after Steiner burst out of the pin, he immediately clotheslined D-Von down to the mat.
Scott brought D-Von over the corner and perched him on the second rope and went for a belly to belly suplex but D-Von shoved him down and came off the second rope with a flying headbutt.
Bubba Ray gave Scott Steiner the Bubba Bomb and then he pinned him but only got a two count as Mark Henry entered the ring and broke up the pin. Bubba and D-Von then double teamed Mark Henry and then D-Von knocked Scott Steiner out of the ring.
Bubba and D-Von continued to work on Mark Henry and then they set him up for the 3D but Scott Steiner got in the ring with a steel chair and hit Bubba with it and then Mark Henry gave D-Von a power slam.
Winners: The Dudley Boyz -DQ-

After the match, Scott Steiner hit the Dudleys a couple more times with the steel chair and then he and Mark Henry left them laying.

Backstage: Stone Cold was shown looking on and he was none too pleased. Eric Bischoff showed up and he told Austin to tell him if he thought his career would end like this? Eric said that the irony is that Stone Cold Steve Austin is the man who took this industry by storm and the man who some would say helped put WCW out of business, standing there looking at Eric Bischoff, the man who's going to put Stone Cold out of business this Sunday. You know what else is ironic about that Mr. Don't Trust Anybody? This Sunday, he's going to have to trust five different people and each time one of those people are eliminated, Stone Cold is going to die just a little bit until they're all gone and so is Stone Cold. Eric said bye to Steve; it's been a blast and he really has enjoyed it.

Backstage: Chris Jericho was shown backstage and a woman brought him his water. Chris complained because he's been waiting 15 minutes for this. Chris told the lady to tighten up her belt because next week, Eric Bischoff will be able to fire anybody he wants. As Chris told her to hit the bricks, Trish showed up from behind him and witnessed his actions. Chris apologized to her for that. He's just stressed out about the Survivor Series. Randy Orton and Christian lost their matches and Chris is on the edge. Chris thanked Trish for something and Trish said that anytime he wants to talk, she will. Chris took her up on that offer and asked her if she wanted to go out and get a bite or a drink? Trish asked Chris if he's asking her out on a date? Chris said that he is and Trish said that she'd love to and they made it for tonight after the show. Chris told her that after he finishes his match with Booker T, he'll find her.

Backstage: Booker T was shown reading the new WWE Book, Unscripted and he said that Chris Jericho won't be smiling after tonight. John Heidenreich showed up and he said that he's got to get one of these books for Little Johnny for Christmas. Someone knocked on the door and John went to get it. John told Booker that there was nobody out there but this note was stuck on the door. Booker opened the note and it said "I still remember." Booker asked John if this is some kind of joke? He doesn't have time for this crap, he has a match! (Editor's note: This angle seems to be a spin-off of the hit movie "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.)

Booker T vs. Chris Jericho
Booker T's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one on one match against Chris Jericho.
Jericho and Booker locked it up in the center of the ring and the two backed each other into the ropes until Booker got Jericho in the corner and the referee called for a clean break as Jericho ducked under the top rope for safety.
Chris Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho but Booker used his leg strength to power out of it.
Chris knocked Booker down to the mat and then he went for the lionsault but Booker moved and Jericho landed on his feet and seemed to jam his knee. Booker went for the Book End but Jericho battled out of it.
Booker went for a Jack Brisco roll up out of the corner but modified it to pin Jericho for the three count to get the win!
Winner: Booker T

After the match, Chris Jericho knocked Booker T down and put him in the Walls of Jericho and then Team Bischoff hit the ring and stomped on Booker as he was in the Walls. Rob Van Dam then hit the ring and did all he could to help Booker T and then the Dudleys came out followed by Shawn Michaels and the two teams battled it out in a preview of what we'll see at the Survivor Series in the ten man tag team match on pay per view! After Team Austin cleared the ring of Team Bischoff, The Coach announced Chris Jericho as the winner as a result of a disqualification. Of course, that's Coach's own opinion. Team Austin then stalked The Coach and scared him into the ring and he almost walked into a super kick but Shawn cut short and just when he thinks he's safe, the Dudleys plant The Coach with the DDD to leave him for dead.

Non Title Match
Batista vs. Goldberg (c)
Batista's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one on one, non title match against the returning Bill Goldberg! As Goldberg walked through the backstage area and to the ring, he was noticeably limping and that's due to the shattered ankle he suffered at the hands of Batista just three weeks ago!
As Goldberg was getting in the ring, Batista attacked him and Goldberg fought back and grabbed Batista by the throat and then gave him a press slam down to the mat!
Batista pulled Goldberg down to the mat from the outside of the ring and then he slammed his ankle into the ring apron two times and then into the ring post.
Even with an injured ankle, Goldberg was able to spear Batista down to the mat.
As Goldberg was setting Batista up for the jackhammer, Triple H hit the ring and knocked Goldberg down with a chop block to end the match in a disqualification.
Winner: Goldberg

The Aftermath: Triple H planted Goldberg with the pedigree and then he went under the ring and pulled out a steel chair and the sledgehammer. Triple H put the steel chair on Goldberg's ankle and then he picked up the sledgehammer and got ready to hit the chair but Goldberg gave Triple H a low blow and then he got up and speared the Game right down to the mat. Goldberg grabbed the sledgehammer but Triple H bailed out of the ring before he could do anything. The show ended with Triple H leaving the ring looking back at Goldberg as he remained in the ring and held his title in the air for the closing of the show.
