WWE RAW Results For Monday, April 21, 2003 - The Rock Concert II
Backstage, Ric Flair talked with Eric Bischoff, trying to find a reason behind the six man tag match at Backlash and also talked about the World Title match between Triple H and Booker T tonight. Bischoff said he had something extra to add into that mix, a special guest referee, Shawn Michaels.

The opening title montage fired up as The Coach and The King welcomed us to Raw.

Chris Jericho defeated The Hurricane with the Walls of Jericho.
Hurricane got a quick jump on Jericho but eventually Y2J regained control and put Hurricane in the Walls, only to have Hurricane reach the ropes. Jericho kept the pace slow until Hurricane broke out of a submission to hit a swing around DDT. Hurricane then nailed a chokeslam but Jericho got his foot on the ropes just before three. Jericho then came back and rolled up Hurricane and turned it into the Walls of Jericho for the win.

After the match, Ric Flair came out and pummeled the Hurricane, throwing him into the ring steps on the outside and then putting him in the Figure Four in the ring. Eventually, a handful of refs came down to break it up.

In the parking area, a Hummer limo pulled up and out stepped The Rock, guitar in hand. Rock said he had arrived and was ready for Rock Concert II tonight.

After the break, Theodore Long and Rodney Mack made their entrance. Long continued to say that the man was holding them down and that he had initiated the first ever Five Minute White Boy Challenge. Long headed to the announce table while Mack headed to the ring where his opponent waited.

Rodney Mack defeated White Boy Evans with a powerslam. The kid in the ring had "Evans" on the back of his tights. Evans didn't get much offense in but didn't look to bad in making Mack look good. Mack finished it with a powerslam at 1:46.

Backstage, Booker T headed into Shawn Michaels' locker room to talk about him being the special guest referee for his title match. Book said last week when he decked Michaels, it was an accident. Michaels questioned it but Book said last June, in the very same arena, Michaels laid out Booker with a superkick, so Booker said he considers them even. Booker then said that he expects the match to be called evenly as well. Michaels said he could dig that.

After the break, some clips of Goldberg at Ft. McPherson supporting the troops were shown.

In the arena, Coach was in the ring and he introduced the long absented Lita who came out to a great reaction. Lita said that it had been way to long since she was in the ring. She began to talk about her doctor clearing her but was interrupted by Eric Bischoff. Bischoff entered the ring and told the Coach to head back to the announcer's table. Bischoff said that since Lita was still injured (she figured about two more months), then she was worthless. Bischoff tried to coax her into agreeing to pose for Playboy. Lita replied that she was very happy for Torrie Wilson but said if she was g oing to do Playboy, she'd do it on her own terms. Bischoff continued and suggested seeing "the goods" and invited Lita back to his hotel room. Finally, Lita had had enough and told Bischoff to go to hell and she walked out of the ring and up the ramp. Bischoff said that no one walks out on him and yelled, "Lita...you're fired!"

After the break, Flair and Triple H were backstage discussing tonight's match. H said he needed to find some "insurance."

Christopher Nowinski joined Coachman and Lawler for commentary on the next match.

Scott Steiner & Test (with Stacy Keibler) defeated 3 Minute Warning (with Rico).
Steiner and Test pretty much dominated. Towards the end of the match, Stacy was knocked down on the outside and Rico started stalking her, however, Steiner came to the rescue. In the ring, Test was cleaning house but he saw Stacy and Steiner embracing which distracted him. Steiner took charge and tagged himself in to get the pin.

Backstage after the break Test and Steiner were having some words when Stacy intervened and told Test he should be thanking Steiner.

Meanwhile, Bischoff and Kevin Nash had a confrontation in which Bischoff said that Nash needed to pick a side. Nash said he'd choose his own side.

The ring was then shown being arranged for The Rock Concert II as we headed backstage where Terri got a word with The Rock. Terri asked what we could expect with the concert and The Rock said the most electrifying night in sports-entertainment.

After the break, The Rock came out to a red carpeted ring to kick off The Rock Concert II. Rock sang a number to the tune of "Georgia On My Mind" in which the lyrics were changed around to trash Georgia and Bill Goldberg. Rock then said he was upset that Goldberg wasn't around to see The Rock Concert II so he invited Goldberg out. Goldberg's music fired up but out came Gillberg which was hilarious to say the least. Gillberg snarled and growled and stomped his way around the ring as The Rock went into his own version of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" called "The Rock Went Down To Georgia." Cameras in the back captured a Barracuda (the car) pulling in and the real Goldberg appeared and started heading towards the arena. The Rock saw it all on the TitanTron and called out security. Goldberg made his way out but security was between him and The Rock. Rock had a few choice words for Goldberg which prompted the big man to charge through the guards and into the ring. Rock and Gillberg scattered as security surrounded Goldberg with Rock telling them to escort Goldberg out of the ring. Security did their best black ninja attack style impressions and Goldberg took care of them with ease. Gillberg jumped in and tried to attack Goldberg but to no avail. However, it served as a distraction for The Rock to sneak up from behind and nail a Rock Bottom. Rock then headed up the ramp and backstage as Goldberg got to his feet and took chase.

Backstage, cameras caught The Rock hopping into his Hummer limo which took off. Goldberg then entered the picture and went to take chase in his Barracuda but he stalled it. Goldberg decided to get out and chase The Rock on foot but as soon as Goldberg was out of the building, The Rock walked by, showing that he had never left, thus outsmarting Goldberg.

A new promo for Slyvain Grenier and Rene Dupree aired. It showed footage of the UN, war and the like. Dupree and Grenier said America would have to learn the hard way, but don't be afraid.

Trish Stratus & Spike Dudley fought The Dudley Boyz to a no contest. Trish was introduced and then Chief Morely came out and announced the Dudley Boyz as Trish and Spike's opponents. The Dudleyz headed to the ring and Bubba leveled Spike with a wicked powerbomb. Morely got on the apron and told D-Von to take out Trish but he refused. Bubba came flying in and splashed her in the corner as Morely told them to get a table. Bubba, not seeming to like what he was doing but wanting to keep his job, told D-Von to get a table but D-Von took the mic and told Bubba to get his own damn table. Finally, Morely took it upon himself and he got the table but by that time, Rob Van Dam and Kane had run out. Kane and RVD battled with the Dudleyz as Jazz (accompanied by Long) came into the ring to assault Trish. Jazz put Trish in the suspended chicken wing manuever and dropped her face first on the table, which wasn't set up.

Backstage, The Rock told a crew member he was ready for an encore and told him to go get the ring ready.

After the break, cameras spotted Triple H and Kevin Nash talking.

In the ring, The Rock was ready for an encore and began to sing "Nobody Does It Better" but Goldberg returned through the crowd and attacked Rock, tossing him over the top rope and then into the ringpost. Christian ran in and stomped away on Goldberg but ended up getting another spear for his troubles. Finally, The Rock came in and delivered a chairshot to Goldberg's back, then one to the side of the head and finally a wicked one in the head again which sent Goldberg head over heels to the mat. Rock contiued to slam away with the chair, nailing him about eight times in all. Rock then headed up the ramp as Goldberg struggled to his feet.

Backstage, Nash was talking with Michaels when Triple H stepped in and said he needed a word with HBK.

Triple H vs. Booker T for the World Heavyweight Title with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee went to a no contest. A pretty good match which saw both men get their signature moves in with a lot of nearfalls and such. Flair continually got himself involved and eventually Chris Jericho came out to aide Triple H. Towards the end, things started to get heated between Michaels and Triple H when Jericho ran in and clocked Booker with the title belt. Michaels was about to make the count for Triple H but noticed the belt and refused to count. Michaels ended up nailing H with Sweet Chin Music. Booker then got to his feet and nailed the axe kick but Flair and Jericho attacked Michaels in mid-count. I guess that's where the match went to hell. Kevin Nash made his way out and helped Triple H to his feet and things seemed to be alright between the two. Nash then checked over Michaels and as he did, Triple H came up from behind and kicked Nash in the junk. Triple H was screaming that he made Nash's decision for him. The two locked eyes as Triple H backed up the ramp with Nash saying, "You're a dead man!"
